The pipe hits the body because it's aftermarket. It's not the stock pipe. As for the EZstart those plug wires are known for problems. Some non traxxss glow plugs wint work with the wire. That yellow wire in that EZstart is ground for the plug wire. Make sure it has a good connection with the engine mount.

They still make those and I have one! The wheelie bar came with mine and is necessary to keep it from flipping under hard acceleration!

I had the early ones with the starter pack with the cable not the all in one unit.
What a great buggy , two speed with reverse electric start absolutely awesome.
My nephew had the newer one with the newer design starter pack .
Used to thrash around some waste land,
Never forget one afternoon a police car and a fire engine turned up.
While we were thrashing around.
I Stopped and obviously walked over to the copper and said anything wrong by then couple of the firefighters got out of the engine as well ,
Copper replied no we just returning from an excise see you and wondered what you were doing,
Basically they were intrigued seeing these trucks thrashing around dust going everywhere and thought the T Maxes were awesome as well , asked loads of questions about the trucks carrying on watching us for a few minutes then left.
Can’t remember how much fuel I put through that engine but it was absolutely bulletproof.
And never ever broke it when I sold it it was fairly scuffed body had a few cracks in it but still ran as sweet as a nut.
Should never have sold it,
Nephew still has his .
As usual great video fella

28:59 that looks like a revo body

it's all about proprietar!

Very lovely starting

Nice shiny one ! I really loved my tmaxx, with a pullstart. Was always nice to get an hours running in before all the ezstart crew were going

I love my tmaxx 3.3 haggard. Good reliable trucks. Tx for the video. Shout out from Michigan.

Lovely truck's

I know I am late to the party, but, if put a 2s 2200mah lipo battery in your wand, it will work better. What I noticed is the wand sends more voltage to the starter and what is left goes to the glow plug, NMH batteries are weak by comparison to lipo and a lipo will supply more voltage to your glow plug, eliminating the need for the glow plug igniter. Any lipo will work, just get a Tamiya adapter for your wand.

i had a tmaxx 3.3 an a revo . i still have the motor that was on my old tmaxx

Rock and roll. Bad ezatart I had the same issue with my revo

Now that's a truck i recognise,  i restored that 3.3 last year and i have another two lol you know me .

I ran an oversized battery in my EZ Start for this reason. Use a 7 cell NIMH or 2s LiPo and it will work flawless, though you will need to remove the cover and use rubber bands to keep the battery in the EZ start wand.

I do havw a spare ez start and also have 5 new glow plug wires if u want them

Camera angle? No front seats!!!😂 Always in the way for the show.

that looks like a Tmaxx classic to me. It has the 2.5 engine. Not the 2.5r or the 3.3 and the short chassis. The 3.3 has the extended chassis and the 3.3 motor, along with a grey transmission and other differences in the drive train.

Love the tmaxx 2.5 and 3.3 even to the jato 3.3 downside is the engines can be kinda crap mainly the rod splitting in half

Got a 2005 Tmax, should be a stumpy plastic exhaust. Sure these motors spin up to 45-50k but don't quote me on that 😊

Love the video would you be willing to sell one or two T-Maxx Bodies?
