Brooks is also an agitator and trash talker. Shead just goes out and does his job well, which is why I think he should have a career that exceeds his status as a mid 2nd round pick.
Nice analysis. The clips you chose really illustrate Shead's skill on the defensive end. The only thing I think would help make the moving screen calls more obvious would be some examples of non-calls of moving screens from around the league.
I seriously hope Shead is going to make a jump offensively. He's already a good playmaker. If he's able to provide reliable jumpshooting and perhaps some interior scoring, at least enough to keep defenses honest, he should be the starting 1.
In fact, I have a strong suspicion he and Ja'Kobe are going to play way more minutes next year, to both increase their defensive options and to (hopefully) provide more spacing with threepoint shooting. For sure Ja'Kobe already showed he's capable to being reliable, if only he can scale up his volume at this efficiency, he should start every game.
