This pair of stars worked very well. Both had value in Boston. Both were all stars, both were all-NBA players. The reason why one had to go is that dreaded second apron.

If the nba changes the rules to allow team to keep drafted players outside the cap, I'm going to lose my shit.

the craziest part is with all of the accolades that JB had earned yet 28 other teams doesn't want him.

JT has the skills that are more translatable with age.

The CBA needs to have an exemption for players they drafted. Like maybe only 90% of the contract goes towards the cap or something

Ultimately, as amazing as Jaylen Brown is, he's a player who needs the ball in his hands and to score to make an impact. If Jaylen Brown has a bad shooting night, then he has a bad night period. If Tatum has a bad shooting night, he can still rebound, create plays for his teammates, and draws double teams that create space for everyone else.

Jaylen Brown is an elite two way player, but his impact relies on how many shots he can make.

I wouldve left the Celtics as a fan if they traded Tatum

The choice was kinda obvious tbh

Great vid. Subbed.

Marketability… tatum jersey sales hover around top 5 league wide.

Brown is almost always outside top 15

Both players are great, but if a team had to choose because of the 2nd apron… well it isn’t really hard.

The 2nd apron broke apart 1 of the best duos in nba history.

If JB assured Brad he wouldnt ask for a supermax extension, they couldve stayed together.

JTs also the better rebounder and positional/off-ball defender.

The sad part about the trade for JB was that this wasnt like the luka deal. Brad shopped him. Nba teams didnt want to give up assets befitting his status as a top 10 player. They treated him more like a top 30 player. And a paul george deal with a couple of picks was really the best a team offered the celtics for JB.

Also, these young guys are all about the money because that’s what the world’s about they could’ve easily took in a cut to make their team better like Duncan did

I hope somehow jaylen brown ends up on the Celtics again at some point in his career

This is the most clear analysis I watched about Tatum/Brown split up. Keep it up

Good video

The CBA sucks. Must be a better system in which a team can keep a baller that they drafted, invested in, and want to keep.

The fact that the salary cap genuinely sliming teams out 😭

怪我明けのテイタムだとトレードで取る方がリスクになる

When they got their money (The Bag) that's when I was like ok. How long is this going to last?

Tatum is the more talented, but Brown is mentally tougher!!!!😮😮😮😮😢😢😢😢😢
