2nd channel and my thoughts on High Guardian Spice 2.0

Bro had the controller, threw it in the trash compactor, then picked up the pieces expecting it to still work💀

He had it already in the bag from day one and fumbled so hard he put himself in the friendzone. That’s honestly hysterical to me.

genuinely scared this show won’t get renewed. this version of jimmy being a chronic fumbler cannot be a permanent thing that never gets resolved.

Thing is i actually agreed with Jimmy's reasoning in the beginning. Kara legit falls in love with the first nice guy she meets. And given what she went through its odd and grey to tie her down again. But the moment he started to do the dating show stuff to make her jealous is where he loses me. I don't know why the writers decided to botch his character like this after how great and fun he was written in the first 2 seasons. Its just odd.

Glad he FINALLY went back to this show.
The thing about Jimmy this season is that, initially, I UNDERSTOOD what he was saying.
Kara does not have that much experience with human relations yet, so immediately being romantic with the first person she's interested in would not be healthy.
It's the rest of the season that brought his character down.

Jimmy flumbled that kryptonian baddie SO hard! Mordecai Indeed has competition sarcástic

God it’s HYSTERICAL that the Writers genuinely made Jimmy such a Fumbler this season because he was “too wise” and he needed to “be punished”.

Punished for the “crime” of being an emotionally intelligent person, a rare trait to have these days.

It’s weird that the Character THEY MADE, and was more emotionally intelligent in Seasons 1 and 2 was purposely given the Idiot Ball in Season 3 because they wanted to

I liked Jimmy's reasoning as to why he shouldn't jump at the opportunity to just date Kara, but he also forgot one important thing:

Kara wanted to be with him. She wanted to the things he suggested with him specifically. She wasnt even trying to rush him into a mating press, she just geniunely wanted to spend time with him doing the stuff they liked. Jimmy absolutely got in his own way and I like that Kara didnt just fold and go "oh yeah, we're good to go now." She absolutely was right to rub it in his face.

Ladies and Gentlemen: Sir James the Fumbler.

This better get a season 4 because this whole thing will either be one of the better slow burns in superhero stories or a big waste of our time.

They really wasted half the season assassinating Jimmy’s character with that atrocious romance subplot and it amounted to absolutely nothing

All that buildup just for them to end up just as friends, and now that the show possibly won't be renewed, their relationship will never see the light of day

"Mordecai finally has Competition"
I didn't think you'd go that far...   but you're not wrong about that either.

I enjoy a dash of jealousy, but I cannot accept Jimmy being jealous of something he TOLD Kara to do

I think the reason why most people were irritated about it is because of Paramount purchasing WB, there's a very real chance we won't be getting a fourth season. This is our final impression of this character. Fumblebird.

Haven't watched the full video, but the way Kara directly said she wanted to be Jimmy's mate, Jimmy rejects her due to his insecurity, encourages her to date, gets jealous when she starts doing the thing HE told her to do, so then HE begins dating to make HER jealous while also IGNORING HER, and is then SHOCKED SHE JUST WANTS TO BE FRIENDS AT THE END....

Deep breath ....Let's just say I have not been annoyed by a man fumbling the bag this hard in a long while....

For what it's worth, the nods at DBZ are 100% intentional. The action side of the series is a straight-up shonen tribute.

I'm actually shocked that the writers did this on purpose

14:00 You know what they say: Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Liquor before intergalactic travel, feel your insides unravel.

“The meta of Jimmy being the constant lover boy instead of Clark is one of the funniest new additions to the Superman franchise.”

Au contraire Mr Sarcastic Chorus. Jimmy Olsen has always been like this. Ladies love Jimmy Olsen. Now the portrayals of this have obviously changed with time and popular consensus, and of course there are Jimmy Olsen’s who are not fuck boys, but I’m saying this is not entirely new.
