R.I.P. Flight commander of the Night Witches Major Natalya Meklin, Hero of the Soviet Union, 982 night combat missions. 🫡🤘

Respect to the women in war..so much..

What isn't said is the reason for why Yavdokiya Reschkavich went out looking for the crash sites of where her girls went down. This was because the Soviet military would not give military service awards and benefits to anyone they knew to be Missing-In-Action (MIA).

The reason is because they would not know if such a person was Killed-In-Action (KIA), had deserted, or had even defected.

Thus, Commissar Reschkavich went out to confirm where her girls went down, so that way a record could be made. In the process, she created the most accurate record of any unit in World War II.

Finally, this story is truly history, as the last Night Witch died in 2017.

There were two other all women regiments formed with the 588th. The 586th Fighter Regiment and the 587th Dive Bomber regiment. Due to a shortage of trained and qualified female personnel, they soon were forced to become coed regiments.

Sabaton wakes heroes alive!....

One of my favorite Sabaton songs, both for the music and the story. Very impactful.

Thank you for reaction, you're are totally right about forgotten heroes 🙏

Great reaction,  they tell the story well, and the music is pretty good, Sabaton rarely disappoint us

PLEASE SUPPORT THE OFFICAL RELEASE

The historical bits are very well made :-)

I really enjoy Sabaton, they are super fun and the music is interesting

It's sad that this isn't taught in schools. I'm American and I found out about the Night Witches years ago on Facebook.

Good day from Australia. I layed a reef on remembrance day for the night witches. That did cause some confusion here until I showed them the video . Keep smiling

The songs I suggested are from different albums with Sabaton! You don't have to react to the songs you've already reacted to, unless you want to of course! You decide of course!  It should be fairly easy to find each album with accompanying songs on either Youtube or Spotify! Youtube should have all the videos for all Sabaton's songs! Animated, official videos etc! If you need help/tips, There are many of us in the comment field who can help you if you need help during this journey 😊 It will be very interesting to see and hear what you think of all their songs! If you do this journey!😊 And then when all the albums are finished, Please tell us which is your favorite album!😊🙏 Sabaton is also working on a new album! 😊 Warm and friendly greetings from Johan 😎🇸🇪🇸🇪😎

There was a Russian movie and a separate TV show about the Night Witches. I would say more but the YouTube censors keep deleting it.

thank u for your service

There's always some sort of reason these stories aren't told...

THAT is what we should be concerned about.

Cool react, keep it up!

Cheers
