We just moved here 3 weeks ago. All of our kids and family are back in Minnesota. Even though we were close to our 4 adult kids, we hardly saw them. They all have careers, spouses, etc, so they are busy with their lives. We try to ignore the distance. We can always facetime or jump on a plane if they need us. But all four fully supported our decision and encouraged us to do something for ourselves. It's still hard, not gonna lie, especially with the holidays coming up, but it helps to get out, stay busy, socialize, and take in the sights.  Eventually we plan to go back to Minnesota at least one month per year. We are thinking July/August when summer heat is at it's peak here in The Villages.

Very informative video. Glad y’all found a house. Saw Grass Grove is a very neat place to visit. There is a church service every Sunday at Ezell Recreation Center if you’d be interested. My sister and brother-in-law live in St. Catherine. Hope to see you next time we visit from northern Georgia.

Congratulations on your new home! Appreciate you sharing your thoughts about TV.  We visited TV in late November 2025, and loved the place, so now we're preparing to move down around mid-2027. Our plan is to build a home on the east side of the Eastport area, specifically targeting the Sandy Hill or Green Hill Grove villages. Until then we watch numerous videos, like yours, and enjoy hearing what others have to say, and especially enjoy that so many others feel the same way we did. See you all down there in 2027. 🥳

Had my Lifestyle stay a couple of weeks ago... I was on Jeannie Pl.. I chickened out on using the golf cart, and had bad luck trying to enjoy the squares, as the first night I was too tired and hot, the second night there were sound system issues as Sumter Landing and Mother Nature showed up on Thursday and Friday nights.Saturday night was early because I had to be at the airport at 7 on Sunday morning.
