Seems like this was one of those purchases where Honey, look what I bought!" "You bought WHAT? Send that back right now! Told you no more radios!" 😁

I actually did the same thing for both MIDLAND and ROYCE back in the early 70'S. Several people in the KANSAS CITY area were paid a set price per radio to refurbishe for resale. A big percentage had no problems. Did replace lots of spekers, cases, knobs, power cords

Another reason people return things is they mistakenly ordered the wrong thing (maybe wrong model radio). Or after they order they find a cheaper price somewhere else.

T-Connector is actually an automotive connector. I had one on the AM radio in my 66 Ford Fairlane GT. 73

I totally understand you, when I have to click 4 "YES" buttons to print the text I sent to the printer in the
first place.

I have this retevis rt 95 as a mobile in my wife’s car. It’s a solid little rig. The only drawback for me is the volume adjust… not really a big deal but it’s the only thing that I don’t care for. I recommend this to a lot of new hams and everyone that’s got one has enjoyed it

Do you remember PC-Write? I LOVED that revolutionary PC text file editor!

Well done getting that radio up and running. As someone without a computer, I need everything to be programmable from the radio.

You're a good man Steve. Most people wouldn't spend their time on something like this.

Hi Steve, great videos and awesome explanation! I’m pretty new on this hobby, for about two weeks now. Last Tuesday I received my first B3S and about an hour ago I received this RT95. Thanks to your videos I’ve been able to unlocked frequencies and to programm this in order to transmitting and receiving so now I can communicate between both. Hopefully, once I got my license, I hope I can make contact with you. Thank you so much! 73
