"Monty was possessed" is Monty fans' "Foxy was just coming to check on you"

“The grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it.”
Never heard it put that way. I like that.

We can NOT just move on from “oh my gawd i killed someone!”

I know I probably will never be in a video, but here's my hot take. Scott needs to actually explain some of the older things. Not even anything important nowadays, just something that would be nice to know the answer to. Like the chomp of 87. Like it's not important to know who actually done it. Like I don't think it will ever be important to know who did it, but I do think it would be really nice to actually know who did it. Like the story's already confusing, it would be nice to just get some clarity.

1:04:41 Actually, it'd be funny as hell if the Mimic learned how to open up its own restaurant chain.

My hot take is that afton doesn't need a sympathetic story to make him start killing kids

You're Monty "oh my god, I killed someone" is hilarious. Like, I want that as a text alert or something 21:10

Hot take: Scott was on something when making the fourth closet

my biggest hot take is that fnaf theorists are trying way too hard. the second the fnaf2 movie came out almost every theory was "the withereds are separate animatronics from the classics" but if you just read the news papers in fnaf2 (the game) and listen to phone guy and the theory is immediately proven false. yet they believe it anyway.

8:12 I actually really like the idea that Cassie's dad is the Bonnie bully because it shows how Afton's legacy affected people outside of his own inner circle without keeping him around.

Totally agree with your Puppet take. They did her a bit dirty. I think about that one Henry line from FNAF 6 where he talks about how she’s helped the others as best as she could and then he says “I should’ve known you wouldn’t have been content to just disappear. Not my daughter.” Like a proud pops.

And then we get an angsty teen who likes to hide inside toy chickens. I kid, but I do think that the character could’ve been so much better, especially considering that besides Afton, the puppet is probably the first character/spirit that gets development.

Hot take: Michael Afton should return as a skin suit for the mimic and the mimic is mimicking Ennard

Hot take: William didn’t cause MCM’s downfall, he saw the business was ALREADY failing because of Edwin and decided to capitalize on it. William has no reason to financially ruin a business partner who, according to Dispatch, developed a lot of technology for Fazbear. Unless, of course, said business partner hasn’t shown any progress on any of their projects for YEARS, AND their workforce is dwindling anyway.

55:52 “Somehow… Afton returned.” 😂😂😂

I’ll drop a hot take of my own: I wish the mainline series played more with the idea of Springtrap being a punishment for William Afton rather than something he enjoyed. People are right when they say that Springtrap has always been playful since FNaF 3 (hiding in the cameras, running past the window when you pull up the camera, etc.) but there was something special back then about seeing Afton face his own retribution in the most horrifying way possible, confined to the same suit he used during the MCI. While I do think DBD did his whole "I love my fate" thing the best out of current FNaF media and fits him in the context of DBD, I do wish Scott had experimented more with the possibility of Afton losing any sense of humanity he once had after being locked away for so long, forced to cry out for help as he shuffles towards the office.

My hot take is that Glamrock Mr Hippo should have been the main ‘vessel’ of the mimic in ruin or a unique character entirely instead of not appearing. It would have been really cool to see ruined Hippo and ruined Monty having interactions with each other, both foreshadowing their origins in secret of the mimic, giving Monty more character than just being a rabid chihuahua, and maybe we could even get a new story from glamrock hippo.

P.S. Not a hot take, but I wanna recommend Saladfingers vs the marionette by EddieFRB. It’s a rap battle including the puppet and I think it’s pretty good.

5:26 I think flipped would’ve been epic. (I’m still holding onto SammyCEO)

55:43 I mean, I find it funny. Your dog died? Grampa Willy. Your back hurts? Grampa Willy. It's also that he's so iconic that a lot of people don't mind him coming back. Personally I'd like to see other villains yes, but having old willy coming back like always is fnaf.

Hot take: Charlotte had a valid crashout in the movie. Adults were never there for her. Henry didn't attend her birthday party to which she apologised that HE couldn't go, (Like... that's like a kid apologising for being born.) and then when she did the right thing kids are supposed to do in those situations (get an adult for help) she was rejected. (Then again, this is the 80s, lol. That's par for the course.) In the end, she saved a little boy's life and yet no one ran to her when she screamed on stage or fell. No one took her from the Puppet. No one seemed to care at all. (Of course they could have been in shock, but still. That was her last living memory: a sea of faces that stared and did nothing to comfort or save her.)

DuelProcessTheory did a REALLY good analysis on Charlotte and Michael in the movies and it completely changed the way I view their movie versions. They're not the 'perfect victims' - they lash out and are violent and in the eyes of many, people hate victims that do that. They aren't allowed to express their rage or they'll be ridiculed. It honestly reminds me of the way the fandom treats Elizabeth. She was just as innocent as game and movie Charlotte yet she is demonised by the fandom just like movie Charlotte is now.

2:30 There actually is a mod that restores all that content and makes the building more connected like that! I am not sure that its called but AstralSpiff made a video on it a bit ago
