I pretty much agree with everything you're saying and touched on many of them in my video. There's definitely an irony about pushing kindness while also writing some of the most vitriolic comments I get. It's nothing new to fandom, though. Like Star Wars is about goodness triumphing over evil and not allowing anger and hate to take you over, but then...*gestures broadly to Star Wars fans*

I really enjoyed the movie, but this all-or-nothing mentality of modern movie watchers is just exhausting. I critiqued Man of Steel probably more harshly than I did Superman 2025, but I still came out really liking both of those movies.

I'm excited to see where they take the universe, and I'm ready for more. But if you read my comments section, you'd think I took an open dump on the 4K blu ray and mailed it to every diehard fan of the movie.

I dont remove comments unless they're personally insulting my wife or kids, cause I think people should be able to criticize me or what Im saying. But I'm not about to get into it with them.

Any free time I have I spend with my son, and I prefer doing that over any superhero movie or pointless internet debates. In a week, people will be talking about the next thing.

The worst part is that a lot of these Gunnbro comments actually have valid points to make, but they’re so wrapped up in self-righteous, pretentious, childishly defensive wording that they lose any credibility their actual point should have.
