For the past few days, I've been going through something that I haven't been through in quite a while. I feel a bit groggy and nauseous, as if a cold is about to set in, but days later, no other symptoms come out. This usually happens when I'm at my desk too much or I'm stressing or whatever. I don't think this has happened since early 2025. I thought my body had adjusted at this point, but I guess not? To be fair, lots of my brain space has been focused on this other project I'm working on, so I don't really have free time to chill other than for social outings. If I do have free time, my go-to thought process is "Wait, if I'm not working on x, I'm wasting my time." Probably not healthy, but oh well.

I asked James Gunn, "Where is the Paradise Lost and Lanterns shows?" He responded "We're working on it." Obviously, this is signaling that Robert Pattison, Grant Gustin, and David Corenswet will be returning in Avengers Doomsday.

James Gunn single handedly started out by working on random movies to working with marvel, gets fired, works with DC, brought back to marvel again, brought back to DC, becomes the co-CEO of DC, then also has time to talk with people in Twitter/X

People coming to James with ideas for the DCU is on the same level as when people go to cons and go up to the mic going "IM AN ASPIRING SCREEN WRITER PLEASE HIRE ME"
your ideas wont be heard just cuz you like the comics, talking to a director on twitter and youre not gonna get picked up just cuz you told some actor you write.

I have to admit that I started off just wanting to see some DC updates, but I ended up fascinated by the toxic tightrope James Gunn has to walk every single day. It is wild how social media has deleted basic etiquette, leaving a brilliant director to fend off a relentless barrage of redundant casting demands and bizarre rumors while trying to build an entire cinematic universe. I truly admire his patience in debunking the same Robert Pattinson or Grant Gustin theories for the hundredth time, especially when he steps up to defend his creative team like Christina Hodson against unfair internet meltdowns. Seeing the human side of this production chaos makes me realize that being an industry optimist is a much better look than joining the mindless digital mob.
