It is so cool to be sponsored by stuff I actually love, thanks for watching these videos y'all. Go check out Echoes of Divinity here: https://www.runecraftgames.com/

You noticed it says "Four Days Later" but with the "Days" crossed out and replaced with "Nights."

This is because Luna was infected and killed Celestia and without Celestia, the Sun never raised again. This also means the remaining survivors had to pretty much go through this whole outbreak and attacks for the last four nights.

Spike's embarrassment over a skin condition lead to him being erased from existence in one of the most painful ways imaginable.
where's that domino meme when you need it

I'll always remember The Molt Effect because the art is just horrifically beautiful. Like, it depicts AWFUL things, but they do it SO well.

Fluttershy’s anger isnt unrealistic, shes had several extreme outbursts throughout the series, it just doesn’t happen often

I like how Pinkie's dragon design appears like an angler fish.

I think the reason why the molt did that was probably because Spike wasn't a regular baby dragon. He was hatched through Twilights magic so I imagine when he begun molting and it had contact with the source of the magic that caused him to hatch it caused Twilight to change.

I do have to say that Fluttershy getting angry is a pretty common thing that happens in the show. (Not like every episode, but at the very least each season.) She's a very protective friend, and will get in someone's face if they dare insult any of those she cares about, which did include Discord!

Oh goodness... I feel like Spike calling out for Twilight is a really good reminder that he's just a little kid - a baby dragon. He's just a baby still and he didn't know how to make the situation better. He watched his mom become a monster in agony and kill ponies before she likely died. He watched all his friends go through horrid pain. And in the end, he suffered even more. It's so sad. And so incredibly well done. Discord is morally... I don't honestly know. He saved everyone, but he sacrificed a child. Can anyone say they'd do differently in this situation?

Also, I REALLY want to know where Discord was this entire time

As the price for fixing his mistake, Spike got a Damnatio Memoriae (which translates to "Damnation of Memory"). It's an ancient (Roman?) punishment where not only would someone be killed, but their name struck from all records and it'd be forbidden to speak of them.
But this time, it wasn't just society, but the universe itself. His very existence was wiped from time and space.

24:20 Spike saying that he wanted Twilight honestly hit my heart a little hard because she literally is his mother. The reason Twilight became celestia's apprentice was because she had to spike from the egg but she was never supposed to the test was supposed to be for her to fail. But because of the sheer amount of magic she had, she didn't. She goes through basically an entire single mother ark with spike

You know its gonna be a deranged edgefest when THREE babies die in a single issue.

Luckily its the fun kind of deranged edgefest

I can’t believe this all happened because Spike got his first period

I know this whole AU is horrifying, but i can't help but find it really funny that Spike is always either the chillest little guy or is accidentally causing mass chaos, with absolutely no in-between

24:02 I'd argue it is very characteristic. fluttershy has had many instances of snapping at those who hurt her friends or any of those who she cares about. she's done it before with discord himself iirc

It’s so funny to me because after he bathed he stopped shedding, if bathing was his morning routine everything would’ve been fine 😭　(also, I wonder if Discord remembers Spike after the sacrifice)

That was a really good story what a tragic ending and it's really nice that it actually did have an ending. A lot of these just kind of keep going and then Peter out when the author gets bored.

I also liked how the Creator set up a classic MLP AU scenario where the characters are going to Zecora as a Twilight replacement to try and get a cure but she's already infected by the time they get there.

5:56 it's good to remember he's a BABY dragon, Mister Profeta. I remember when I was little, being scared to tell my mom about something I did by accident.

I kinda like how the virus isn’t really explained either in this infection AU like you see him shedding and infecting twilight and then it’s never explained which I kind of appreciate it. I think it makes it a little bit more scary.

I noticed that rainbow has the least care about swearing. She is normally the first one to swear if there is no filter on these  AUs.
