Which of these fabric shops have you ordered from—or is there one you’d like me to try next?

🧵🧵🧵🧵🪡I’ve ordered from My Favorite Quilt Store, and Missouri Quilt Store(?).

I will use Michaels online for heavy cottons but for any finer fabrics I shop the sales at Mood. They have enormous stock, great customer service, and have never been dissappointed.

🧵🪡🧵🪡 I have noticed that fabrics at Hobby Lobby that are considered Christmas fabrics are priced at 50% off like the Christmas decorations. I just got a 10 yard bolt of 100% cotton with a printed cross stitch stripe alternating with candy cane stripes. 45" wide and the candy canes go both ways so you don't have to remember to cut your pattern one way. Regular $11.99 at 5.99 a yard. I'm planning to make myself a Mrs. Claus dress and if I have enough, make Santa a matching shirt.

THANK YOU for Bodeeoh! I have wanted to reupholseter some 1970s chairs in that 70s green. They have several choices of the color I'm searching for a very good price.

I had a talk to a lot quilters. The problem with fabric today is awful. It frays, see through. The weaving is so bad the fraying so bad I hate when I you can see my seams The price very high price for very substandard product. I talking about all designers moda, Riley Blake, Kaufman, Kona, and even tulip pink and Kaffe fassett
I can keep going. I have to buy extra supplies, like starch and fray check. Sorry my opinion fabric are substandard The only fabric I found is Stella still awesome quality.

FWD ships through Amazon, and it's very slow. That's irritating. Hancock's of Paducah: 10 stars. And Jordan's Fabrics in Oregon. These two get the bulk of my business. I stay away from anything corporate and try to support locally-owned stores. I have a list of about thirty I will check out if I'm looking for something specific. And for people who want to touch fabric, truth be told, if you buy name-brand fabrics, there's nothing to sweat about. The reason you wanted to touch Joann's fabric was that the bulk of it was terrible.
