Hello Darren !  Lovely seeing you and Molly back in Scotland, and discovering even more of her incredible beauty !  Like you , I’m trying to see different parts, having concentrated so much on the beautiful Moray and all the surrounding area it’s easy to forget or even miss that there are so many hidden treasures to be discovered .  Having passed , what I call middle earth Scotland , so many times it was lovely to spend a few days in the mountains , waking in them and walking around them . So much to discover a 4000 year old Yew and a 400 year old painted church ceiling which looked like an old barn !  The waterfalls , the forest , the moss, and just that ever changing light and landscape did not disappoint!  I had a similar feeling , not being by the Moray, and not really feeling the Scotland I knew , but I discovered a new love.  The remoteness of much of Scotland is of course its beauty , but it holds so many questions for me too !

Loved your reminiscing of your army days and finding a friendly estate owner to take you all in !  I discovered this time 2 hermit caves , which apparently were all the rage , “a must have “ in the 17th century .  A pet hermit !

I still have many of my own questions, but will continue  to explore and hopefully, find my answers !  

Thank you for sharing as always , the photos were gorgeous , as always !  And I must add, by the looks of Molly , I think Scotland , wherever she is , is definitely her happy place !

Sounded like your head and heart were more aligned by the end of the video. Life is forever changing and evolving, always having an impact. It's good to see the views again though. Love hearing your army stories too, they make me chuckle.

Picture perfect...as is your narration on what speaks to your Spirit....no doubt the Scottish Highlands do....the scenery has it's moods yet never fails to satisfy the Soul.
The pictures you take all tell their own stories....just amazing ! ❤

I'm just back from my short epic camping adventure that holds so much good memories, near disasters, a long trek that nearly had me on ny knees with exhaustion, withstood a wind and rain storm, tent stayed up and kept inside dry and cosy,  met good liked minded people and i truly didn't want to come home.
This travelling life i crave ....
P.s...didn't get a train as you have to book in advance (20 days) to gain a section for laden camping trolley on board ...so my friend hired a car ...the stuff she had filled the boot and back seat.
It was of course all worth it. 😁

I'm glad you are enjoying Scotland....stay fit, happy, healthy and adventurous....thats what true Freedom is all about.

Hey you! I hear you, and it’s completely okay to feel that way. Sometimes, our internal headspace just doesn't match the scenery, even when it’s a place we love. Scotland isn't going anywhere, so take the pressure off and just take it day by day; no expectations. And honestly, if you’re finally admitting that looking at wet rocks and misty hills for four years straight is losing its spark, your secret is safe with me. 😉 But seriously, take it easy, don't compare your mindset  to match previous occasions 100%, ok? A lot has likely changed within you. You’ve also been preoccupied by your future travels, so you need to embrace the next few weeks of rest to recharge your batteries and ready yourself for your big adventure in Belize. I'm sure the local whisky still tastes the same whether you're having a few soul-searching  moments or not!   Cheer up, Dazzi, my friend, or else I'm going to have to phone you to sing to you, which would make you realise your issues are miniscule in comparison to my tone deaf voice and you'll just laugh uncontrollably and feel much, much better before you know it! 😄🫂

The nearest I got to there was Gretna, my very first night in Scotland on my way up to Glasgow. Beautiful walks and waterfalls where you were by the look of it. The challenge of being present when there is so much on the horizon. There is only this moment. Enjoy your travelling with Molly as I’m assuming she’s not going to Belize with you?!

Hi Darren, thanks for the video. Here we go.   You have so much on your mind right now. It messes with your head, so many thoughts going through your mind at once. You carn't relaxe as you used to with all this going on in your life, you find you have to make an effort all the time. . You have no heart or soul in what your doiing at the momment, nothing wrong with that. You need to live your next chapter of your life, and sort your head out.  Yes a bit strong, but true, ive been there. Love the edits.  Take great care.

Sorry to hear Scotland hasn’t felt like home this trip, and I hope your wee tour will rekindle some of your interest. But I also understand that when other horizons are beckoning they can overwhelm the senses.

PERFECT !! Again - where does Molly get so much energy ?  She always makes me laugh,  not laugh out loud  but puts a smile on my face ( it takes a lot  btw ) ..
