This is a movie with soul that now movie industry couldn’t make. No bad guy, no sex scene, no nudity, no cheating.. without these elements, they don’t know how to make a love movie.

Sophia Loren's crying at Milan  station in the end (10:04) is the most touching part of this film. Years of that scene stuck in my memory as a testament to how awesome Sophia Loren's acting was.

A great movie of all time .I am 60 years old and watched this movie in my early college life, but remembered still

감독도 배우도 음악도 요즘영화의 가벼움과는 참 다르다. 전쟁을 모르는 젊은이는 이해가 안되는 영화.
