Just imagining Finn sitting somewhere on a porch with his grown up son telling him, that Nu-Metal paid for his diapers.

I actually have a huge appreciation for Nu-metal, I don’t understand why people hate nu-metal so much

Finn, just admit that YOU love Nu Metal as much as the rest of us do.

The fact that you can't tell the difference between local bar bands and label-signed nu metal bands just speaks to the genre's authenticity which is what makes it the superior genre

If Foo Fighters are the biggest dad rock band, the biggest divorced dad rock band is Staind. If you go through divorce court as a man, it is a requirement that you listen to Staind. If you aren’t wearing your Staind shirt proudly, I’m sorry to say but you aren’t actually a divorced dad.

Fun fact: Deadsy was signed to a record label owned by Korn called Elementree Records. Now that's some deep nu-metal!

When they ask what should be added to library of congress to immortalize Finns contribution to society, it will be this video

Orgy is highly underrated and their sound was super clean. way ahead of their time.

I don’t think enough people talk about Kittie. I love them not just for their fashion, but their sound has resonated with me a lot. Their first (and only, I think) nu metal album was harsh and full of anger. Anger towards the struggles women face, from dealing with creeps to body image. That album really resonates with me. As their music career progressed, they cleaned up their sound a bit, Morgan lander’s clean vocals/ screams got even better, they dropped the rapping, etc etc, yet still produced heavy and powerful albums. I really look up to the members of Kittie, the band means a lot to me. Sorry if I kinda poured my heart out, I just really love Kittie lol

Nu Metal was my gateway into metal and it still holds a special place in my heart. Deftones, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit and System of a Down are still on my regular rotation to this day.

Nu Metal is something that constantly evolves. It's a GIANT and very wide genre that basically means "Metal fused with any trending current genre", in my opinion. Modern Nu Metal to me is like Tallah, Fever 333, Tetrarch, and Falling in Reverse. These bands have all taken modern Pop music styles and production and mixed it with heavy-ass guitars, drums, bass, and vocals. Out of all the bands in this wide genre, Korn will always be my favorite and probably be the most game-changing band to me. They've experimented SO MUCH throughout their career that I can't not claim that they are the most influential Nu Metal band out their. But without a doubt, there are many, many other great bands as well, old and new.

"Kitty sucks, but Crazy Town? Mozart of the millennium." -Finn probably

Everyone sleeps on Ill Nino in the any Metal scene (good hardcore influences too)

More Nu-Metal bands to check out: Skrape, From Zero, Lifer, Endo, Stereomud, Nothingface, Spineshank, Switched, Five Pointe O, Unloco, Darwin's Waiting Room, Pulse Ultra, Apartment 26, Element Eighty, Full Devil Jacket, Cold, American Head Charge, Nonpoint, The Apex Theory, and 3rd Strike, ..those are the bands coming to mind so far. All real cool bands!

Congratulations on that baby! There is nothing close to how awesome it is to be a dad! Much love bro blessings to your family! Nu metal is always kewl to listen to

The extreme amount of nu metal energy from the Reveille song just melts my face.
This is pure art and I love it 😂

It's fitting that Aaron Lewis' career went from the "soundtrack of deployed soldiers whose wives are getting fucked by Jody" to his "God bless the troops" country career. I think one of his last singles was about mask mandates or something.

His career is like a more depressed version Kid Rock. Or maybe Kid Rock is like Aaron Lewis on cocaine.

The vocalist from Orgy looks like he belongs as the main villain's right hand/enforcer from an Underworld movie that never came out.

Finn is that guy who pretends to dislike Nu-Metal but secretly loves the genre.
