Is Hobonichi Going to Take Over My 2027 Planner Lineup!? | 2027 Haul

Hey everyone! I finally sat down and filmed my first real Hobonichi haul, even though I've been using their planners for years. I placed two orders this time, one directly from Hobonichi in Japan and one from Amazon, and I'm walking through everything I got, what I'm keeping, and what's already headed back for a return.

I love seeing all the hobonichi items!

Love everything you bought! That A6 Japanese notebook seems really cool. 💖

Oh my gosh Hannah! I too am loving watching everyone's haul videos. I already did mine, and totally agree with you..... everyone's haul is so fun and different! There's really not a standout item that everyone got this year, maybe the keychain, lol! You got some really cute things! I love the cover combos that you chose for the yellow weeks. They both look soooo good together! xo Bonnie

I jumped on buying that A6 original cover. And saw no one till your share owing one. I am never seen such a beautiful rich red. And it’s soooo unbelievable pretty in person.

Love how the clear cover with the “dots and stripes” looks on the yellow Weeks. I ordered the same combo although I was trepidatious, but now I can’t wait to set mine up!

@y.spence 2 weeks ago

I don’t enjoy covers on my A6, either. Your yellow weeks with the yw cover is so cute!

I also really love the quotes on both the box and in the techo - they are most likely directly translated and doesn't 100% make sense but it is soooo darn wholesome.
Oh, I never thought of the leaf as a bookmark... I just thought it was really beautiful and wished it was sticker so I thought it was a waste that it was a little card but now I can actually use it for a purpose!

I loved that one that your daughter got. So pretty! I think I am grateful I am not into the thin paper or I would have been in trouble trying to decide this year.

I too got the A5 V&A cover and had mixed feelings. I ended up selling mine and breaking even on it. I couldn't pinpoint what it was about it but I was trying to force myself to like it. If the back print would have been the front print then I would have loved it. Also, I had too many friends mention that the cover looked like a skull, face, uterus and I just can't unsee that now.

Loved your haul!

@juneseghni 13 days ago

I got the A6 V&A and the colours are definitely more muted than the website photos. I still love it thought I believe I'm not the only one who has said the same thing.

@Libertyschoolhouseplans 12 days ago

Ha! I’m one who doesn’t like the sound of opening packages. Maybe it’s because I’m not into ASMR either. Love your haul!!

@jennifernovara7452 13 days ago

You can cut a Uni multipen gel refill to fit this pen. Just snip an eighth inch off the top. I’ve done this for years.

@Whatever-z9k 12 days ago

I loved the V and A cover but when i saw the dragons head. Ummm no. I cant unsee it and its scary to me. I dont like dragons or skulls. But the floral is lovely.

@tdslovey 13 days ago (edited)

FYI, the Hobonichi Add-on stick notes DO NOT have Tomoe river paper. It is a standard smooth paper. I still bought a set even though people say it is not fountain pen friendly.
The V&A cover, I can't unsee the skull.

@inkedandartzy 2 weeks ago

I need to get an a6 day free!

@MochitaLita 2 weeks ago

If you decide not to keep the A5 V&A cover, I will purchase it from you! It’s sold out everywhere and it’s the one I’ve been trying to get a hold of since it dropped.

@Sarahbear2000 6 days ago

Is it the covers that make you prefer hobonichi over Sterling ink? I’m just curious. I prefer the SI white paper and simplicity.

@sayuriakirayuu7944 13 days ago (edited)

I also love the sound of packaging. What annoys me is when they have a cup of coffe or tea next to them and the keep sipping...you can hear every gulp because is always so close to the mic, it's gross
