In this video, our mission was simple: remove as much as possible in one day. 🌿💪
A new family is moving into this home, and they already have a clear vision for the future — they want a garden that is much more open, simple, and easy to maintain.
But before something new can be created, a lot of the old garden has to go.
So we gave it everything we had. We removed as many plants and shrubs as possible, cleared heavily overgrown areas, and spent a lot of time dealing with one of the biggest challenges on this property: ivy.
The walls, parts of the house, and several areas of the garden were completely covered in it. Removing years of established ivy can be surprisingly demanding, especially when it has worked its way into every little corner.
And yes — we know the garden might look a little chaotic at the end. 😄 But that’s exactly what the homeowner wanted.
This isn’t the finished garden. It’s the beginning of a complete transformation.
The goal was to strip everything back and create a clean starting point for the future redesign. Eventually, the family would also like to have a much larger lawn in the backyard and significantly fewer plants to maintain.
It had been a long time since we produced this much green waste and cut material on a single project. Seeing just how much we removed really shows how much work was hiding inside this garden.
Sometimes a transformation has to look worse before it can look better — and we think this property has a lot of potential. 🌱
Now we want to know what you think: What would you do with this garden if you could redesign it from scratch?
And if you want to see how this project develops in the future, leave a like and comment below so we know you want a Part 2! 👀💚
