I really appreciate how this movie portrays Hulk's anger not as fuel for getting stronger and defeating the bad guy, but as a burden that causes him enormous pain. I feel that.

This film is so underappreciated. It's criminal, the film isn't only the most accurate representation of hulk and banner. I always related to hulk as a character because I always struggled with anger and expressing my emotions. I also just like to be alone, a key character trait of hulk.

Everyone: "Let me get this straight, you think Ang Lee's Hulk is actually good?"
Me: I do. And I'm tired of pretending it's not.

This version of Hulk is enormous. When he sayd "Puny Human" Then he covered all Banner´s body with his hand

This movie is criminally underrated. Of all those early 2000's post-Spider-Man Marvel movies, this one swung the hardest. It may not be perfect, but damn did it go for broke. Even though it actually played it pretty fast and loose with its source material, it still did a fantastic job of injecting lots of emotion and thoughtfulness into its story. It's funny that one of the biggest criticisms it got was basically "not enough smashing". This movie may never get the love it deserves, but I'll always love it.

Thi movie made me fall in love with biology qnd genetics because how hard they tried to make his powers seem "plausible" and that steered me towards biology and now im a med student waiting to finish it. That's how influential this movie is to some

I absolutely love this Hulk. I even read the novel adaptation of the movie in anticipation of it. I had anger issues back then and this movie helped me channel it into something that was less destructive.

The desert scene is one of the best in any superhero movie, it's not your typical vanilla fight or explosions and sh*t all the time, it's just a giant misunderstood monster that is finding his freedom while remembering his mother that was taken away from him... you don't get that from any of the Disney vanilla Marvel movies from today

when this came out on DVD I had it on repeat in my apartment for several weeks. I love this movie. The color palate is wild.

While I liked Mark Ruffalo's fun portrayal of Hulk for the MCU. Eric Bana to me is still the best movie version of Hulk, I just love how he portrays Banner as a very socially awkward person that's not outgoing or Whitty and is mostly very tormented.

Also ngl If I'm Being Honest I like to think that this film will one day be featured in the MCU.

This is my favorite Hulk movie and one of my favorite Marvel movies in general. I fear we will not see anymore superhero movies like this

I'm honestly shocked that no one else has ever brought up just how impressive the CGI is. A good majority of it looks real, like for instance when David Banner gets his powers in the lab or pretty much whenever Hulk runs around in that big ol desert

Also if I'm being honest while I kinda agree with most on the dated special affects, this was 2003, CGI had a long way to go before future filmmakers could make it seamless. And let's be honest even modern superhero movies have crappy CGI at times (have you seen the original justice league movie?)

This is a solid adaptation of the incredible hulk all things considered.

I agree, 2003 Hulk is very underrated

I wish more people appreciated this film, it’s so different from anything else I’ve seen.

I have been on the internet for a long time and to see the absolute reversal of the public opinion of this movie is insane. I saw this movie when I was like 5 and I got on the internet at 12 and this movie was hated by everyone. I'm finally vindicated at 24 for my love of this movie lol.

"you're making me ang lee. You won't like me when I'm ang lee."

That scene where bruce's dad bites the cabel and turns into electricity and the cloud fight is the most badass, well edited and well choreographed superhero fight scene period imo.
