Ordered a replacement radiator for 2018 640i GT. Same deal with the moved heater hose nipple. What PITA...hate this car!

The amount of detail is great, until you get to the point of actually removing the radiator, then your on your own. Nothing said about separating the 2 or any of the actual difficult steps.

great video thank you

Where is the radiator connected to the cooler??

Can you actually show us how did you the splice, how you reconnected it, and what clamp you used please? It’s a lot more useful for us to see what you did rather than just being told. We would very much appreciate it.

Did u use the same fitting when u relocated the hose to the other side ? Bc the 90 angle on mines is making hard since is hitting the frame at the bottom

I have a 2018 530i and my OEM radiator does not have the port under the upper radiator hose on the left. Do I plug it and how?

You don’t have to bleed the coolant once you replace the radiator?

Did you buy an oem radiator or aftermarket, I’m thinking about buying aftermarket. What do you suggest?

Hey is everything ok with the car after cutting that hose and reclamping it

Hi Frank where are you located?  I have a 2018 BMW 540i  3.0 with M sport package and I need this done immediately

So I have the old style radiator where the angled pipe is on the right, I bought one where it’s on the left, I just have to cut and connect it there instead?

I have the same car and am wondering why the radiator failed.

Did you end up cutting the hose and why did you not show how to do that step?

I was wondering the same thing. You missed the draining of the radiator. There is no drain plug or petcock on the radiator.

Did you have to drain the coolant?
