"Power comes from the breath, not the muscle...!" -Uncle Iroh

This is how old time strongmen broke chains that were wrapped around the torso

This is John Brookfield. Thanks for watching the video and your comments. I would like to say, that with my breathing method, there are no limits to developing your breathing muscles and breathing mobility. My method continues to develop both strength and mobility. My method is useful for anyone and everyone. My course teaches people how to continue to improve with no limits. It can be used for power, relaxation and everything in between. Thanks again for watching the video.

There’s a youtuber named darwinianfitness who also discovered something similar.

Keep bringing John back! I have enjoyed every single appearance. His grip training video has completely changed my 'rest' time.

Holy shit, worlds strongest man and a medical genius

Huh... so perhaps was this what the Mighty Atom and Jack Lalanne did to achieve their feats of strength?

Hi guys, if you have questions for John, he will be checking in later here in the comments. So go ahead and post them here. Thank you!

Another point would like to make is this. With Rise + Restore breathing you learn too truly decompress your spine and major organs with your own breath. This allows the body to work in optimal health. One must learn to create force with the breath to decompress these areas. This system trains and strengthens the breathing muscles with no limits. Once you can Rise you then Restore the body to optimal health. Thanks again for watching the video.

That first breathing exercises is literally like bhastrika pranayama from yoga and indeed it is very nice and helpful

A lot of these breath control ideas are actually very familiar to me as a trained vocalist. The idea of raising a dumbbell overhead "using your breath" seems a bit misleading, since the muscles of the ribcage can't directly move the glenohumeral joint. But these exercises would still be great for strengthening and mobilizing the intercostal/interstitial muscles, which could have major benefits for breath control and thoracic mobility, as well as learning to better suppress the sympathetic nervous system (adrenaline).

I would love to see you two and Wym hoff do something together.

Western Physical culture style version of advanced Yogic Breathing, and Taoist/Chinese martial arts "Breath/qi packing" and breathing exercises.

This is great stuff. This goes well with the ribcage expansion vid from Darwinian fitness.

bros breath is stronger than me

Rise + Restore Breathing Method by John Brookfield

This God Given unique breathing method is much different and much more progressive than other breathwork you have ever experienced. You start by learning the correct way to breathe to create continuous Nitric Oxide which will increase your circulation levels.

The second step is to decompress your spine and major organs which will heal and enable your body to operate in optimal health. As you progress you will continue to learn how to create more breathing space, breathing strength and breathing endurance. There is no limit to increasing your breathing strength and mobility and Rise + Restore breathing will do just that, regardless of your goals and your current abilities and situation.

As you progress you will learn how to move your breath into different regions of your body to increase your physical and mental performance as well as enhance your health and add years of healthy living to your life.

1 - Foundation of proper breathing
2 - Decompression Breathing
3 - Unkinking your hose
4 - Creating more breathing space and mobility
5 - Strengthening your breathing muscles
6 - Undulation Breathing
7 - Four Winds Breathing
8 - Whirlwind breathing
9 - Extended Exhale training
10 - Tide Pulling Breath
11 - Breathing Workouts

Start out with a Spirometer, its used for diaphragm strengthening in medical clinics. It has a gauge to track progress.

I feel like the longer you go with your own personal learning. These are milestones that you eventually get to, in your own personal journeys.Cuz, i've experienced something similar to this, and this is my first time hearing about this
