I got the sweater from Hypeland since y'all keep asking lol

If I close my eyes its like Tails having a mental breakdown trying to figure out why Shadow looks like Sonic and getting no answer.

I love how the Robotiniks family tree features Shin Godzilla, an ultra powerful hedgehog,  the greatest terrorist in history and his AI daughter

Feels unreal seeing Shadow actually being taken seriously by Sega but the GOAT is so back

That just about covers it. I have only one question… when did he learn to use a gun?

I have yet to meet a Shadow fangirl that doesn’t have ADHD.

As an adhd latina obsessed with shadow I feel so seen

"hi shadow, it's me, the devil."

Fun fact, Gerald’s journal, which is included in the Sonic X Shadow Generations preorder, details how Gerald investigated Angel Island’s ruins, discovering the power of the Chaos Emeralds, finding and studying the technology of the Gizoids from Sonic Battle GBA, and creating the Artificial Chaos enemies from SA2. Which actually does explain how he created a replica of the Master Emerald Shrine on Angel Island.
Even gave us a hint at Eggman’s family tree, as apparently, he had two sons, and Maria’s father (also Eggman’s uncle) adopted his fascination with archeology from Gerald.

I derive no greater joy in life than watching Sonic fans pull out the whiteboard and info dump about silly little guys they're hyperfixated on. I'm so mad I never got into Sonic as a teen because I know for a fact my ADHD ass would've gotten so obsessed, it would've changed the trajectory of my life. I'll never get to fill the margins of my homework with doodles of cartoon hedgehogs... alas, I'm now an adult and the brainworms are taking hold regardless, it wont be long until I am 100% Shadow the Hedgehog.

Anyway as a newer fan thank you for the lore dump I actually learned a lot of new stuff! This will make a fine meal for my brain worms, hopefully they grow big and strong and eventually take over my life. <3

Gerald named Shadow out of spite, but Maria gave the name a new more hopeful meaning

Another minor correction (if I missed it in the video please forgive me): but Maria kind of did AND didn't name Shadow. The project was already called "Project Shadow" but Maria was the one that decided to actually give it to him as a proper name after hearing the project title and making the "shadows show the path to the light" analogy.

my only wish is that you emphasized how ridiculous it is that you have to wait several minutes in the final boss fight until eggman decides to tell you everything. The fight takes like 2 minutes or less but eggman doesn't start talking till like 6 minutes in or some shit

i want you to know as someone who just bought sonicXShadow generations and has never played a game with shadow before, this video is literally what i needed…..you’re amazing

the image of emerl being like "we can only create a bond if you prove you are a being of sufficient strength" and gerald just showing him his blicky and emerl being like "aight that tracks" is the funniest bit of sonic lore ive learned today thank you

"just kidding it was a gun" 😭

My Latina loving king has been explained by THEE sonic girly. We love to see it 🖤❤️

We need to get Izzy a "I'm not even kidding" Jar.

I may already know all of Shadow's lore but thats not gonna stop me from enjoying every single second of someone talking about it anyways

0:33 Shadow the HellHog. The scrapped idea for Sonic Unleashed. Instead of the Werehog we would have gotten Shadow's Hellhog form, which is just Shadow in a Dante cosplay (Vergil cosplay would've been unlocked upon games completion)
