There needs to be a Netflix movie based on Slipknot. Done in the same way as The Dirt for Motley Crue.

The fact that Corey can still talk, let alone sing and scream, is unbelievable

There will never be another "Iowa". That album was born from a dark, terrible place.

I was in a heavy band from Des Moines in the early 2000’s called Hollowpoint. We had a local show at a bar called HairyMarys one night and Joey and Mick showed up to check us out. After the show they came back to our practice spot and hung out for bit. It was right before the Iowa album came out. I’ll never forget that. Cool ass dudes

the fact that corey's ex-girlfriend's family still cares about him and his safety is heart warming

I'm proud to be one of the owners of the original first release of Slipknot CD. To this day I support them. Their music is not just a product. It's part of me for 25 years.

How on Earth was the band was able to do a press conference the day after Paul died? That's amazing.

I was a broke college student living in the apartment next door to where they played in 1995 at the Safari Club. Our bedroom practically shared a wall with the club. I remember not being able to sleep because they were so loud. I love Slipknot, had no idea they were making that awesome music. Kicking myself for not going to see them.

A lot of people don't realize that they pretty much did something that was once thought impossible. They managed to top the charts with a metal album. That is a nearly unthinkable accomplishment for a metal band. They deserve all the credit in the world for that

I grew up surrounded by country music, in branson Missouri. I felt like a freak, when I found slipknot I was 15, may be one of the only reasons I'm still alive. Most insane live show ever

Honestly a bit shocked at how dark their story was. I was beyond a superfan of them as a teenager, but I was myself in a very dark place. I would drown my frustrations and thoughts in music and turn up the volume till I couldn't hear my own thoughts. Slipknot was a huge part of my existence in every way, and nonetheless I started playing drums because of Joey. There was something insanely sexy and captivating about Joey's aesthetic and drumming style and the drumsolos he would do and how he was such a core to their shows.
