Diana I am not good at decorating cakes either but one trick I do use is when the top is frosted I get a fork and run zig zag lines lightly and vertically on top of the cake . It adds a bit of texture and a quick way to decorate a cake simply .

I don’t have a good sized pan but couldn’t wait to try so I just used a normal bowl 😮. Waiting for the result now 🎉

Hi Mrs Diana, do you have another steamed recipe with more or less the same ingredients? I bought a lot of baking powder, confectioners sugar and dark brown sugar haha

That cake looks delicious! Do you know if we can use almond meal instead of normal flour? We dont like using flour in our cakes. Can we also replace the sugar?
