Hi fellow thermie fans. We've been waiting for a long time here in the UK for the arrival of the Thermomix TM6 cutter attachment. It has finally arrived and I ordered it right away.
Here I put it to the test to help you make your mind up if you are thinking of buying one. There are also basic instructions on how to assemble it. I hope you enjoy the review. Do you own this already? What are your thoughts? Comment below.

I can't say I've used mine quite as much as I'd have liked, but the few times I have used it, it's been brilliant. As you say, very sturdily built and it makes a breeze of cutting and grating anything. Also very easy to clean, although I would recommend sticking it in the dishwasher if you've used it to grate cheese. Especially if it's a little on the softer side, bits of cheese tend to stick in all the tiny crannies and they're a pain to get out by hand.
You mentioned a few times in the video to make sure you don't LOSE the drive shaft attachment, but I'd like to add a second very important note to that:
NB: DO NOT forget to REMOVE the drive shaft from the Thermomix bowl after you're done with the cutter!
I haven't done this myself, but I've seen more than a few people on a Thermomix cooking group I'm on on Facebook post about accidentally blitzing their drive shaft for the cutter. Apparently it's fairly easy to remove the whole Cutter bowl and carry on with emptying out the contents and rinsing, then going about your business, completely forgetting to take the drive shaft out of ol' Thermie. Cue the following day and you've fired it up for a new recipe and start with the usual chopping of garlic/onions and blammo: some nice bits of plastic to go with those chopped onions. 😅
Thanks as always for the continued content!
