If the government isn't there to provide for us then wtf is it there for?

Mamdani has proven that the government is fully capable of getting so many good things done that benefit the people without having to pledge undying loyalty to Isreal and the rich. That's why the establishment hates him and keeps trying to demonize him

I'll keep saying it; socialism isn't when "government does stuff," that's a working government. It's supposed to do stuff for you.

What El Sayed has realized is that you can use their cowardice against them. Tell THEM what they believe, and watch them fail to distract. It makes him look good because the most positive takeaway you can have of the ghouls is that they're bad at expressing their take

I love that El Sayed mentioned "Blood and Treasure" it shows that he understands the underlying support base of Trump. He knows WAY WAY more than he is letting on. He is actively using White Supremacist dog-whistles to point at social and economic issues and say "your big racist guy is a liar. I'm not on his team, but at least I know the problem, and have a solution." It's harm reduction, not elimination, but anything is better than what is currently happening.

"Hey ChatGPT, should I vote against data centers? You know, the things keeping you going and Im currently using, even tho I know what I think already?"

The fact that we even know about the Russian "plague"  presents a more interesting question.

Huh so this is how Resident Evil starts.

Elliot sarcasticly suggested something that people are doing with a straight phase will never get old

The concept of using AI to research who to vote for, and then using a different AI to doublecheck the first one's work, when it's common knowledge that AI rots brains, hallucinates, and lies, is haunting. We're so cooked. Dear god.

26:36 she wasn’t ready to do anything but cackle condescendingly

Hegseth was confirmed 51 to 50, with the casting of a tie breaking vote by JD Vance as President of the Senate. If Tillis had voted present or cast no vote, let alone voted Nay the confirmation would have failed. If he'd informed Mitch McConnell (who did vote against Hegseth) he planned to join Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski in voting against him (because Whiskey Pete is an obvious security risk) the nomination would have been withdrawn.

There’s an amazing clip going around where it’s Pete Hegseth’s latest speech, put to pictures and videos of him failing to do exercises properly. It’s so good…

the difference between the people around trump and the people around Zohran when the speak could not be more extreme

I live in a rural area and we had many, many races during the primary where there was absolutely no information about candidate platforms. Literally no online information. We used to have two local newspapers that ran detailed voting guides, but those newspapers no longer exist. Deeply frustrating.

Seeing Mamdani's staff behind him looking genuinely happy and excited while he was speaking proves his character

Plague? That's fine, the Health guy, with the voice of a horse that's being strangled, will eat the animals that spread it. 100% He's mainlining all the red 40 and chugging Keystone Ice. He's practically immune.

Hearing what Hegseth wants to do with the army reminds me of how the IDF in Israel uses social media to whitewash what they actually do.

It's super psychotic.

Just wanna say, I as a bigger kid had an experience where my neighbours dad was throwing everyone in the dam (open water source for larger properties) then he tried to throw me and failed and wouldn't do me but did everyone else, I wasn't super fat either, about this kids size, maybe even a bit smaller.

Anyway I'm 35 now and it's a core memory

every episode that comes out now, I wonder how I would feel if somehow I watched this 7 or 8 years ago.. never feels good.
