Faughan follows the river and the people connected to it as the scale of one of Europe’s largest illegal dumping scandals is revealed.

Moving through memory, fishing, landscape and community, the film examines the environmental risks surrounding Mobuoy and the continuing questions of regulation and accountability.

The River Faughan is an important source of drinking water for Derry and the surrounding area.
