Tara's death hits so hard because she was such a beautiful, truly good person. She was basically the epitome of warmth and love. To see such light snuffed out so brutally is so tragic. Her presence is felt and missed in every subsequent episode, for me.

Warren is so hateable because he's someone who could (and does) exist in real life

20 years later and I STILL believe...warren deserved every little bit of what he got. 🥳😎

The fact that Tara’s actress dated Warren’s actor for a long time is always a funny tidbit.

Tara's Death would have broken Twitter. The Internet.

41:09 “Bored now” was the catchphrase of the evil vampire Willow from the Wisheverse & Doppelgängland. To see our Willow say it is both chilling, because of the level of malice in her, and a “stand-up-and-cheer” moment. Because it’s a righteous fury

James Marsters said that was the worst day in his professional life and he had to go to therapy because of it.

As soon as I saw you two had drinks for these episodes, I was like "Yeah, you're gonna need them..." 😭

I still have to admit, Tara's death is one of the most shocking moments in television history. It was quick, graphic, and uncompromising. There was no build up to it, no dramatic foreshadowing (When we saw Amber Benson being added to the intro, we just thought "Finally, she's officially a part of the intro!"), or even an inkling that it was going to happen until it did. Plus it was so ironic given the story. In a series where people are battling vamps, ghouls, goblins, and other demonic monstrosities, Tara dies by one of the most human inventions of destruction ever. A gun, fired aimlessly by a pathetic man who didn't know what he was doing. It's truly tragic in more ways than a million, even after all these years.

I hate that Willow lost Tara and has turn to Dark Magic, but I have to admit I do love the Dark Willow fit and what she did to Warren was MAGNIFICENT

I've never recovered from Tara. She was the most genuine and loving person and so supportive of everyone. Everything I've wanted and tried to be in my own life and my favorite character in any show ever.

Imagine waiting an entire week for the next episode after 19’s ending 😭

The one thing that always gets me about this episode is how we, the audience, are completely surprised by the use of a firearm. Shows how immersive the Buffyverse is, since shootings irl are LESS shocking, somehow…

something about THAT moment that's always struck me is, if you think back to The Body in S5 when we lose Joyce, that Willow was insisting on finding the blue sweater because itnwas Joyce's favorite. In Seeing Red, Tara was wearing A BLUE SWEATER TYPE SHIRT in what used to be Joyce's room.

Amber Benson just being in the intro ONCE is so mean. We got our hopes up. Dammit. 😭😭😭

Tara's death hits so hard because we saw what her family was like & how she managed to break away from it, and she was never mean to anyone & never hurt anyone. She was brave when Glory found her at the cultural fair, even has her hand was being crushed, she refused to give up that Dawn was the key & then having her mind messed up by Glory. So to have her be killed by Warren was of course, devastating.

In retrospect, it should have been obvious:
2x17 "Passion" – Jenny Calendar and Giles make a date after Buffy forgives her betrayal. Jenny dies.
5x15 "I Was Made to Love You" – Joyce's tumor is taken care of and she has a date that goes well. Joyce dies.
Angel 1x9 "Hero" – Doyle admits his feelings for Cordelia, and she seems open to it. Doyle dies.
6x18 "Entropy" Tara and Willow get back together. ..........

James Marsters (SPIKE) said in an interview that after filming "that scene" he was in shock and didn't talk for a few minutes. SMG was really worried with him and he just remembered that she was continuously saying "I'm alright, James, really, I'm fine, I'm ok, James...!" 😮🥺
