Steve Perry was the nicest, most compassionate, most inciteful band member in Journey. He made that band what it became. The other band members knew that without his amazing voice, they were done. He has such a soft side and that comes out so strong when he talks about his mother and relationships. When anyone mentions the band Journey, we know these guys were great insturmentalists but Steve Perry's voice was the greatest insturment that put that band on the road to success.  Good on you Steve for being who you are and staying true to yourself.

Glad to see Steve come out of the shadows and pain of Journey.  He is hands down one of the greatest singers of the last 100 years.

I cannot think of a better ending to an epic series than hearing Steve Perry's voice.

Steve Perry is still so gorgeous..and still got a stunning voice...it's still nice to see that you are such a kind humble man...

For someone in his late 60's, Steve has beautifully elegant hands. Even the way he moves them. They're made to hold a microphone 🎤

Steve said maybe I should write a book and let the Traces album cover be the cover. Totally agree Steve.  You should write a book!❤

Not only is Steve a great singer, but a great person as well.

Steve Perry is smart and articulate. He has grown into a very self-aware person. I can feel his wisdom and experience when he talks.

This is how you interview a legend, with grace, professionalism, and respect....wonderful chat to sit in on...

He's such a genuine, sincere, and beautifully intense man. I'm glad he chose the route he took as a musician and a man. You have to respect him for doing so. His loss of love was a inspiration to love music again. It's a amazing story. Happy he's returned!

A quick prayer. Lord please give us some more Steve Perry’s. We need more incredible voices like him, and the music that he creates. Welcome back to a world starving of good music!

I could listen to him talk for hours! ❤

Steve is a class act.  Such an amazing Man!  I love him so much and have so much respect for him.  He always stayed true to himself.  He was burnt-out, and he deserved time off to take care of himself and have a normal life.  He went through a lot.  He lost his Mom, had hip surgery, his girlfriend, Kelly passed away, among other heartbreaks--not to mention what he went through with Journey.  It was so beautiful what he said about Kelly--he was so in love with her!  He started to lose his voice due to the long tours.  It takes a lot out of you.  As a singer myself, I can totally relate to what Steve is saying, because often times, the lead singer does not get as much respect as the other musicians in the band, which I think is so unfair because the lead singer has a lot of pressure put on them, and singing Steve Perry/Journey songs is not an easy job.  It's hard work!  Steve deserved a break from music.  Just because someone is talented, rich and famous, does not exclude them from every day problems and loss of loved ones.  We are only human, and we can only take-on so much.  If you don't take care of yourself, you will be no good to anyone else!  I have to say, he looks amazing!!  Such an inspiring man, not only for his incredible music and singing, but because he is so real and down-to-earth.  I will love this Man forever!

He will always be remembered as the best rock voice.

His little bit of imitation singing at 21 mins actually gave me the chills and made me tear up, I’m ngl. this was a while ago, but Jesus Christ. He’s still “The Voice” and always will be 💞

You are the sound track of my youth

Steve Perry will forever be the best lead singer that Journey ever had. PERIOD

I just discovered Steve Perry in my 79th yr!  I admire his talent, kindness and his deep love for family.  I was raised by my Portuguese Nana so I get his devotion.  Steve is a treasure!  Thank you for sharing him.

Steve Perry is the best to ever do it. Simple as that.

I sing Foolish Heart with Steve  on a day basis!❤❤❤😊
