Roy: I know how I can help Japan.

Tiffany: How?

Roy: I’m gonna become PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!!

Y’know when you said “literally Terry and Ken merged together” somehow I still didn’t expect “has power geysers and shoryukens”

"I pressed a button and I am going to die for it."
Has any sentence ever more accurately summarized arcade fighting games?

WE NEED A RIVAL SCHOOLS 3 GODDAMMIT

"I'll take this cheese burger... and eat it!"

I’d love a proper sequel to this game or at least a remake because this is a really fun game.

Rival Schools
Bloody Roar
Darkstalkers
Would love to see new next gen editions of these

Bruh you can summon a girl and she kiss you to restore hp? This game is wild. And Hideo Kojima is in this too damn

And in today's episode of "Capcom Franchises They Don't Care About and Will Never Get A New Game"...
Batsu's voice actor, Nobuyuki Hiyama, didn't just voice Link and Nightmare,  but Joe Higashi up until KOF 14, Hiei in Yuyu Hakusho, Dimitri in Darkstalkers, Ikkaku in Bleach, Sanageyama in Kill La Kill, and dozens more. Hyo's voice actor, Toshikazu Shiozawa, was another fixture in the industry for a long time. This was actually one of his last roles because he passed away in 2000.

Tiffany talks broken Japanese due to, being American and stuff.

The Japanese versions of these games had way more interesting create-a-character modes (Visual Novel for the first 2 on PS1, Boardgame/Visual Novel for Project Justice)

Another round of Rival Schools?

Hell yeah.

Batsu is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama who is Adult Link's voice from Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros. And Super Smash Bros. Melee.
RIP Kaneto Shiozawa 😔 (26:14) January 28, 1954 - May 10, 2000 He's also Gray Fox's original Japanese voice from Metal Gear Solid. His voice clips were also reused in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Ultimate.

We need a reboot of this game in new generations of consoles Ö

I live just to hear Roy yell "COME ON, BABY!" when doing the team super.

Edayan's character designs for this game cemented him as my favorite Capcom artist of all time! Kyoko is bae all day!

Why does Batsu sound so familiar?

His VA Nobuyuki Hiyama also voiced Joe Higashi and the current voice of Link (Up+B b o i s)!!

"Look at this charming ass game! Pisses me off. How is that they got it so right in the 90's!?"
Well...
Because they cared, back in the day; at least a lil'bit more than now. It's been always a business, but back then there was passion.

White House press corps: "President Roy. Is it true that you were brainwashed by a--and I'm quoting here--'Japanese Businessman'?"
Roy: "......"

I remember my math teacher having a PS in his classroom and allowing me to bring this in and let people play the game if they got done with their work.

I find it funny she’s a biker who shares her name with a film involving biker gangs initially
