The difference in the stripey ruffle blouse is amazing! It looks so good now and you really did get a lot of extra length despite how much you had to trim

Okay, the adjustments on the green stripe blouse are massive! I've felt the wobbly wrinkles in my soul since you made it (not in a bad way ha, I think it's adorable!) and it felt like letting out a breath you've been holding forever to see the new refreshed version!
And I genuinely didn't notice you were showing the inside of the shorts until you pointed it out! Stunning to see the quality of work! It's been fun to see you grow in your skills and confidence as a sewist.

The existential dread of living in this timeline filled with post apocalyptic themes is, in fact, not awesome. But your videos are a refreshing distraction and source of inspiration to make artsy stuff! Also, Preet's mom is a hero! I think I like the hat more now. The matte texture of the white ribbons really match the rustic vibe of the hat nicely. Also, that plaid tank top is basically three shirts in one, which is such a win!

Never apologize for a book tangent! Even if I weren't interested, which I am, at this point literally anything in public that emphasizes that it is good and normal to read for pleasure is welcome and needed, sigh. The green blouse looks SO good, I definitely am impressed and think you did a good job :) Also, "Hello. Some events have transpired" really sent me lol

Being able to alter your clothes is such a superpower, to say nothing of making your own. Everything came out great! The change to the striped top is really striking, and adding the ties to the plaid tank top is such a clever design.

A tip to stop the puckering of the hat band is to cut it on the bias! It makes it a little bit stretchy and should lay nicer around the bend 😄

The straw hat looks more beautiful with the white ribbon, the low contrast makes it look softer, which goes with the hat's vibe.

I have also recently got back into reading after feeling for years that I don’t have the time! It was tremendously motivating to realise that by only reading 25 pages a day, I could finish about 23 books of 400 pages length in a year. Much better than zero books! I’ve been reading a bit after breakfast, on the bus, on my lunch break… I think as long as you feel a commitment to reading despite not having long stretches of time to do it, having to break it up into little pieces ends up much less disruptive than you might first think.
