Though Ruth borrowed the design for the tabletop from the central pole, she free-handed it! What an artist!

Holy Moly. That restorer doesn't restore..she creates. And what she created is a gem on its own

I love Ruth, one of my favorite restorers. If she's doing the work, I want to watch! So much talent and such a good vibe to her.

Another fantastic job by Ruth, restorers like herself must feel some amount of pressure to get the clients brief correct.

I noticed that quest TV had been posting up a lot of content over the last week and my favourite show being salvage Hunter and the restoration spinoff. good that they’ve actually taken one of the stories which is normally split into three in one of the restoration episodes and told the story in one nine minute segment

I picked up one EXACTLY the same last week in IKEA , £15,99 . I’ve got it in the hallway. I use it to display my Stella cans through the ages collection.

Gorgeous work! 👏👏👏

When they worked to clean the gemstones from Sutton Hoo, they used a rose thorn as their sharp tool, that wouldn’t scratch. I think it might work instead of the cuticle wood. Or maybe even a bamboo skewer would work.
