Reginald Seekings was one of the key figures in the birth of the SAS, yet his name is far less known than many of his comrades. This video tells the true story of Reg Seekings, from his early life in rural Cambridgeshire to the brutal desert raids that defined L Detachment and shaped the future of British special forces.
We explore his role in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, and Normandy, the missions that earned his reputation, and the remarkable calm that saw him survive gunfire, explosions, and near fatal wounds. The video also compares the real man to his portrayal in Rogue Heroes, showing how Seekings helped build the SAS through action rather than legend.
