Kent hasn't had an original thought since he started his 'career' as a 'science teacher' decades ago. If you play one of his lectures side by side with one on the same topic by his son they are almost word for word identical.

Not addressing this debate specifically, but just speaking in general: I wish debaters would not go in blind and unprepared; that they would go in ready to take on whomever it is they're going up against. People like Kent Hovind and Darth Dawkins have been running the same script for literally years, it shouldn't be too much to ask of their opponents that they prepare by watching a few of their debates so that they know what to expect. It's not a great look when you just run in and hand a Hovind or a DD an easy victory.

I like to watch Hovind debates because the people he debates always have so much great information that they use to prove their arguments... I always know exactly what Kent is going to say but I learn so much from the person he is debating

“There does not have to be a verified complaint when a case goes
to the grand jury. The grand jury can start an investigation (either
nudge by the prosecutor which is how it normally starts or even started
on the grand jury initiative)....

A complaint is something filed with the court. A verified
complaint simply has to have someone verify the complaint under
oath. Some federal criminal cases may initially be commenced by
complaint which must be verified, but all felony crimes ( require that
the grand jury make the charge in an indictment. ....

Hovind’s criminal case was prosecuted by a grand jury indictment which, as noted above, does not require a verified complaint.”

David should have called him on his analogy about Chinese scientists- it's not whether they favor Communism, it's whether Chinese physicists, the chemists, etc. teach different things than they do elsewhere. Also, can all the content of the Bible be reproduced by scientific experiment? If not, what is its authority?

"You can't look back in time" but you can freeze it, apparently. Hovind has been stuck in 1977 mode all this while. However dire he performed, the other guy was only half-decent. Hovind needs a firmer hand to keep him from vomiting his spongebobs too liberally.
