One thing as well, all these figures in Europe are statutory minimums. A lot of companies provide far more.

Slavery was never truly abolished in the USA. It was only transformed. Instead of owning people directly, the system shifted to exploiting their labor through poverty wages, debt, and fear of unemployment. Skin color no longer defined the chains - now it's economic status. And the brilliance of the system is that it convinces the workers they are free. They're told they live in the land of opportunity, that they can make it if they just work hard enough - while in reality, they're trapped in a rigged game where corporations have all the freedom, and the rest are just struggling to survive. It’s not slavery in chains - it’s slavery in disguise, powered by propaganda and paycheck-to-paycheck desperation.

A big cake is on a plate on the table. A person comes, cuts a small piece and leaves it on the plate, takes the bigger part and tells all other folks : now act fast before immigrants come and take your cake away. This is capitalism, the US way.

For capitalists, human life and the environment has no value except for what profit can be extracted from it. So, the US "system" isn't broken. It's working exactly as it is supposed to.

In Europe you make more money per hour than in the US and at the same time, the costs are cheaper and quality of living is higher! So the standard of living is very high compared to the US, but you still got some money in your pocket.
Sadly the US citizens don't get it and are still acting as they are the best of the best! Makes me feeling sad/bad for americans ... :( *sorry
Just imagine to make twice the money, but just pay half the prices ... you life would be very different!
And keep in mind that giving birth is free and your kids could go to a tuition free university (with free healthcare and so on) ... < but that's another topic! XD

How many vacation days do you get?

Social democracies fund their welfare state by high taxation on everything, and higher still for the wealthy and the corporations. Most of what you earn goes back to the state - so they can spend it on your healthcare, worker's rights, education and so on.
Much better for the average Joe, not really worse for the wealthy. I mean, does it really matter if your fortune is $100 million or $1 billion? I know I wouldn't care that I wasn't a billionaire if I had $100 millions.
