The whole theater gasped. The buzz got louder and louder. And then we all had to pay to see it again, to catch all the clues.

Sixth Sense is one of those movies that the twist drops at the end .... then you re-watch and suddenly see all the hints and clues that you missed.

What makes this such a good twist that has endured 25+ years is that it didn’t need much explanation or additional exposition before people almost instantly got it. As soon as Malcolm looks at his hand, and then Cole starts talking in the background it’s like everything immediately clicks into place. Still a brilliant twist.

15:25 I never get tired of watching the dog coming to check on this guy.

You know an ending is legendary when I still got chills 13 times in a row

The true brilliance is the movie was literally telling us what was happening the whole time, and still no one saw it coming.

RED is the connection. Anything or anyone who came in contact with the other side. Doorknob, her dress, the moms outfit. Is RED.

imagine realizing this with a theater full of people at the same time. It was awesome.

I like that EOM was instantly and sincerely apologetic for being so mean towards Anna. The twist really re-contextualizes her character and actions.

EOM's reaction is the best. His dog just senses his distress in that moment and comes over to comfort him. Such amazing animals.

People actually kept this twist hidden. A different time.

The true beauty of watching the reactions to this movie is how well those who have seen it keep the secret, while quoting the line that gives it all away every time we say "I see dead people" with a knowing grin.

Cole never told Malcolm the second half of his secret because he still needed Malcolm‘s help. He didn’t lie when he told Malcolm you’re the only one who can help me.
The more I watch reactions to this movie the higher it rises in my list of the best movies ever made. It’s pure genius: The script, the acting, the cinematograph, even the music.

If this came out today and people still went to theaters, there would definitely be a “ruin the twist challenge.” With idiots screaming he’s dead in the middle of the movie.

I love seeing a new generation enjoy the movies I did.

His"office" is in the basement. After his death, she locked the door to his at home office

What a lot of people miss about this movie is the beauty of this character who felt so riddled with guilt for failing a child he didn't believe that even after this now grown child takes his life he has to do right by him by helping another child experiencing the same trauma.

Legendary twist for a great movie. Everything's laid out there right before your eyes the entire time, but the movie manages to "dance around it" so incredibly well that you don't realize until the final puzzle piece falls into place. In hindsight, it couldn't be any more blatant - but that first time around it really gets you. Incredibly well made movie.
