This reminded me of the "Lessons from the Screenplay" vid they did comparing Black Swan and Whiplash
Do Whiplash next and pull out a drum set

Great content my bro

How do you have time to make such well-produced videos bro. It is a miracle. Love your work.

Reviewing pinnochio on the 1 year anniversary mark. What does it mean?

Excellent movie!

There's no such word as bestest and the charecters name is not Mila Kunis in the movie lol

I can't see it this way, because there is no real growing up happening. All of the grown up things seem to result from reactivity to stressful circumstances. I see it as a standard story of psychosis. She has the perfect age for the onset of schizophrenia, the perfect pre-psychotic personality (loner, soft spoken, avoidant) and the perfect neurotic mother, causing the "splitting" of her psyche. She's hallucinating, and the behavior of others is so extreme that it's better explained as a distorted version as interpreted by her suffering mind.
We end up with an almost too on the nose presentation of psychoanalytic theory.

Black swan was a decent film though im Not the biggest fan of the director because he did Noah which I absolutely despise.

Bro I hated this movie, the whole time it felt like I was missing context just like the Lighthouse but the Lighthouse is horror so it fits better.

Little drawn out bud but good job🎉
