What Lies Outside the Star Wars Galaxy (That Even the Empire Feared)

Every map of the Star Wars galaxy has the same problem ... none of them show the wall.

There's a hyperspace barrier wrapped around the entire galaxy, and it's been there for over thirty thousand years. In this video we break down exactly what lies beyond the edge, who built the cage, and why nobody can get out.

We cover the Galactic Barrier and the Unknown Regions, how hyperspace actually works and why it kills you at the edges, the Celestials and what they were trying to contain, Outbound Flight and why it never made it, the Yuuzhan Vong invasion and how they got through, and the Pathway to Peridea from the Ahsoka series.

The short answer to what's outside the Star Wars galaxy? Something the most powerful beings in history were scared enough to cage an entire civilization over.

See now this "Skywalker" thing would have been a great explanation for Anakin's mom: a human that the Chiss used to travel hyperspace.

Theory 4, the bubble is there to keep the Yuzhon Vong out. It failed. (Chewie was such a badass, the Vong had to drop a moon on him to kill him)

Didn't all of this happen a long time ago in a galaxy far far away?

The yuzhan vong look like a civilization from Warhammer 40k

Joruus C'Boath is also the legendary Jedi who was resurrected by the Emperor to oversee a new cloning program on a secret planet. This story takes place in the Heir to the Empire.

The circumferential barrier was made by celestials to keep an entity named Mnngal-Mnngal away from the galaxy. This entity can take over planets, space stations, living organisms or inanimate objects it infects and bind them to its will.

Hn Solo once complained why isnt there a Death Star around when you need one.

This is truly great work and shows tremendous dedication! I feel thought, that combining the former legends lore with the new disney lore leads to too many contradictions. As i reckon, the Yuuzhan Vong invasion takes places at roughly the same time in legends lore, as the New Order builds Starkiller base in disney lore

It would be a good place to hide the species that Yoda is from.

This is something that needs to be more focused on. It seems like were never getting anywhere in the star wars story.

It’s almost like a cell in a much larger organism.

In non Canon star war book galaxy was split between the empire and the corporate sector. Emperor and the corporate sector bosses had an understanding that empire will not go and trespass upon corporate sector territory. Corporate sector controlled all the technology, so empire was never given any tech to travel between the galaxies, but only between the stars in the same galaxy.

It was Paplpatine who destroyed the Outbound flight, Killing 18 Jedi was to tempting a target.

@adammiller4445 5 months ago

Can you count outbound flight when it was sabotaged by Palpatine?

@Marco-on2ou 5 months ago

I wonder what would’ve happened if the death star shot at the bubble at the edge of the galaxy🤔

@dorugu 4 months ago

one thing is that the hyperspace lanes they use are xtremly unstable outside the core parts
another is what lives out there amongst there beings that feed on the force beings and a planet that has foce users that even the sith fears

Theory 5: Dez nuts are so massive they created the barrier to keep it from crushing them.

There is a hyperspace time table the whole galaxy is tuned to. I don't know how it works but it gets around the time dilation from lightspeed. This idea is from a fiction book. I can't remember which book.
