Core planets like COREscant and CORElia 😂

Half of this galaxy is unexplored and in the Ashoka season, they introduced a whole new galaxy. They can just theoretically start a new series in said new galaxy with new characters and force abilities

The Drukhari pics threw me for a loop!

because the only reason as much of the unknown regions is mapped is because hundreds of thousands if not millions of people have been essentially sacrificed to the void of it over millenia just to assert the routes we have today, also most people dont even know about most of those routes, yes the fans/audience do but most of them are actually secret or known to very few or to no one even alive anymore. because the unknown region has so many shifting spacial hazards like gravity wells of all kinds and dense matter fields and nebulas it makes any travel, especially in a mostly straight line as hyperspace mostly requires, impossible. the route may be clear one moment and the next its death for anyone trying.

I agree with you in the end, that humungous amount of unknown regions in space is great for Star Wars writers.

Yuuzhan Vong are terrifying AF.

I hope that Disney grows a pair and introduces these mad lads

Only a small portion of the empire's side of the galaxy was even mapped. Adm. Ozzel told Vader there are so many uncharted systems even within the known boundaries of the empire. Exploration can only be done at sublight speeds.

13:17 I love how little the creator of star wars knew about asteroid fields, in the asteroid belt for example, the average distance between 2 asteroids is 600,000 miles

Traveling from one side of the galaxy, in a straight line, to the other side without hitting anything has 99.9999999% chance, aka nearly 100% 😂😂😂

Sequel trilogy?  Never heard of it.

Just ordered the Shadow Menace saber and I am beyond excited.

when you rely on hyperdrives and hyperlanes so much that you don't even think to develop warpdrives to explore the Unknown Region

i was legit looking for a video like this yesterday i dont know why this one didnt show up until today

Thrawn might have been onto something: shifts in art are kind of fascinating.

90% of YT videos on Middle-Earth rely on art from, or derived from, the Peter Jackson trilogy. Similarly, whenever anyone in the last three to five or so years needs an image of something striking or weird in space, a variant of the James Webb space telescope image of a black hole shows up sooner or later.

I'm not calling anyone out here: those images grab people's attention for a reason. All I'm saying here is that seeing a topic where there's been decades of artwork that shifts to taking a single work (or even just a single image, in the JWST black hole's case) as the definitive image to base future works on, is interesting.

peak timing

Ooooh! That empire! I really thought it was gonna be the Imperium... still cool video, loved it

We really just gonna ignore how he used a picture of the Drukhari from Warhammer 40k at 20:45 ?

Summarize go left is profitable, and go right is not profitable. Just because

I found the thumbnail of this video strangely funny

With unlimited resources they could just send a lot of big probes small jumps and use their calculations and readings to map everything
