I did a review of this product back in April . . .
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCBr_UyYSrA

Too much MSG glad I avoid them.

Just got the shopping in and bought the Chicken and Mushroom and Original curry. Wow they taste like the old days, very strong flavour like before they removed the salt and changed the flavour. These are defo the classic flavour. Worth a buy 100%

I never heard of this

I wanna try these. Interesting

Thanks Chris , good review maybe with the kids as well and lou ... loved when lou said "i can smell that from ere" x:)

Just a thought I wonder what they would taste like mixed together with the different ones, only one way to find out 👍

The pot noodles water measuring line is wrong in my opinion that's how you end up with drinking the liquid left in the pot 👍

Yes why not review the other two, and fuck what the kids think 👍

In a couple of weeks I think you will find it will be stone cold by then and real maggots in it 😅👍

Seasoning mix was in the original pot noodles in the bottom of the pot 👍

Pot noodle basically cutting back on the cost of the packaging same with fast food places with paper straws that everyone hates, because they're cheaper to make than plastic straws, but you still get charged the same price with  paper straws than plastic straws basically more profits to them the robbing bastards, plus with packs of pot noodles you have to use a saucepan and a bowl to eat them out of causing more washing up for you to do 👍

Random recipe idea is to wrap the Pot Noodle block in bacon then add tinned potatoes with some water and tinfoil wrap it all up and oven cook it - Try it people you will love it

The worst noodles I have ever had were Pot Noodle "Lost The Pot Chip Shop Curry Noodles". They tasted of nothing and I was surprised when I had them with my Bolognese sauce, they actually took flavour away from the sauce. Absolutely vile food. How can a food remove flavour from what it's put with? I dunno but they did. I reviewed over 70 different noodles and those were rated the lowest at 2.0/10.0. Here's what I said:

Verdict: The worst noodles I have ever had. Noodle quality is below average, but it's the fact that they taste of nothing.

The flavouring sachet might as well not exist. I got 20 packets of these from Rogers Wholesale and they worked out at
25p each (they are 50p in shops).

These are made by "Pot Noodle" so you'd think they wouldn't be that tasteless, but they are awful, in fact worse than
awful - because at least food that tastes awful does have a taste to it.

Since I had to get through 20 packets of these, I ended up putting in Bovril, or Marmite, or an Oxo cube. That was the
only way to make them palatable. In fact I remember once putting half a packet of these with my Bolognese and the
noodles somehow took flavour away from the meal. I have never witnessed a pasta, rice or anything do that and you'd
think it's not even possible. They really are that tasteless - almost like some sort of "anti-food" or "opposite food".

Would I buy them again? Absolutely not, in fact I wouldn't accept a packet of these even if they were free!

There's 36 reviews on Tesco for these and they have 4.2/5.0 stars on there. Who on earth is rating these that highly!
They must not have tried any other noodles or they are mixing in something else with these that has a lot of flavour.

Here's a few of the 1 star reviews:

"Artificial, tasteless, waste of money".

This one really went to town complaining about them...

"The company definitely lost the plot when they brought this to the market. It is disgusting. I assumed (wrongly!) that
this was the exact same product that you find in their pots, just without the pot (thinking that they were using a more
green approach), but no, it isn't. All it is is a block of plain noodles with a sachet of curry flavouring. And the noodles
are not the same as the pot noodles, far from it, they are very thin and very slimy. They remind me more of the old
super noodles rather than pot noodles' noodles. We ate them as we don't like to waste food, but through gritted teeth,
it was definitely a bland day when we had these for tea. Never Again!!! I will not give up the good old Pot Noodles,
but these will never find their way into my basket again"

Yes I agree with everything they said. Here's another...

"Impressively tasteless. Tried these as a snack and alternative to other noodles, but they were horribly bland, despite
the curry flavouring. Like eating slimy cardboard. Next time I'll reach for a piece of toast!"

All the 5 star reviews say they are tasty. Give me a break! Who are these people honestly, absolute Philistines?
They must have taste buds more sensitive than a shark to taste anything with these noodles.

I had the standard pot noodle version of this..Bombay bad boy…It was so hot 🥵

So its the same as a pot noodle, but I have to dirty up a pan and a bowl to make it?  This is absolutely so that it costs them less in packaging! Cnuts!!

Apparently these were introduced because the Lost the Pot Noodle were a failure. They brought these out with the extra flavouring sachet's to make them taste like the classic pot noodle from many years ago before they changed the recipe. 👌👌

They arent new lol. Been out ages

Just get the 30p chicken ones and add a teaspoon of curry powder, and if you want it painful, add some hot chilli powder. This block doesn't even have the 4 peas and 6 bits of sweetcorn you get in the pot version. AND you have to cook the bloody thing in a saucepan. They're literally taking the piss, standing there laughing at you for buying it. The bastards!

Probably the same manufacturer
