Let me know here in the comments what you think about Elm Street 4, 5 and 6!

Luckily, Wes Craven was able to turn this around with New Nightmare.

Freddy created a whole junkyard world that’s wild  that just shows how powerful he is

Part 4 will always hold a special place for me in this series waaaaaaaaaay back in 88 I was 12 and it was the very first A Nightmare on Elm street i got to see in the actual cinema... I was already a huge fan having seen the first 3 multiple times at sleep overs so when we got to see this one on the big screen it really was something awesome

Pt 4 was actually very good and creative for a fourth sequel.

A very common misconception in The Dream Master is that the dog revived Freddy by pissing fire onto his grave when, in fact, that's not what brought him back at all. I mean, it could be argued that the dog desecrated the hollow ground that Freddy's remains were buried in, and that's what got him up and kicking again, but I think that its much more likely that it was Kirsten who brought him back. I know that Freddy vs. Jason came out decades after this movie, but it was established through dialogue in that movie that fear is what makes him stronger. If you don't show fear or if you dont think about him, he has no power over you, but on the other hand, if you show fear and spread his name around as well as the legend surrounding him, then it makes him stronger. These facts are supported through parts 1 and 4. How does Nancy defeat Freddy in the first movie? She denounced him and showed him that she's no longer afraid of him. In Dream Master, we're told that it's been an entire year since they all last saw Freddy. This shows us that they haven't seen or thought about him in ages, and if they have, they didn't make a big deal out of it like Kirsten did.

Long story short, fear is what brought Freddy back from the grave, not fiery dog piss

Nightmare has the best sequels in any horror framchise IMO!

My favorites are 1.3.4. Dream masters tied in really well with Dream warriors

Alice Johnson and Tommy Jarvis should have been the protagonists of Freddy vs Jason, I totally see them teaming up to save the people of Springwood and making a plan to stop the villains while they are busy fighting each other.

Killing Kincaid really mad me mad !!! If anyone survived it should have been him

Elm Street #4 was my favorite out of these 3 movies, but I've never forgiven them for disposing of the 3 survivors of Dream Warriors so quickly. I actually am one of the rare people who gets more enjoyment out of Freddy's dead than I do #5.

I saw Freddy’s Dead in the theater. Knowing when to put on the glasses was not an issue for two reasons. The first being the audience was cued to put on the glasses when the final girl (Freddy’s daughter? I forget) put on hers. Fairly obvious. The second reason was that there were instructions printed on the side of the glasses themselves. For me the hardest part was not ruining the glasses with my grubby fingers before it was time to don them. Great video. My favorite out of the three you spotlighted was #4.

I liked the credit montage at the end of 6!

Dream Warriors (part 3) was the best. Dokken in the soundtrack. Cant beat that🎶🤘

As a kid, part 4 was my go to nightmare, but now it's my third favourite behind part 1 and 3,but part 4 was the mtv nightmare, but it is alot of fun and part 5 and definitely part 6 are bad nightmares, but they are watchable,I have a special place for part 6 because it was one of the first horror films I ever seen, that and jason goes to hell,I don't care what anyone says jason goes to hell is a fun film

Not saying it’s a good movie or anything but Freddys Dead was the first Nightmare movie I saw in theaters so it does hold a special place in my heart. I can also say that at least for me I was told ahead of time to put the glasses on when Maggie does so we knew that going into it. ✌️

Part 4 was my favorite

Brooke Bundy (Kristen's mother) taught me acting back in 2011/12

Dude— the Kincaid/randy take is exactly how I feel!

Each one is great in its own right
