I love how he can say the villain of Ages isn't a "Ganon-level threat" right before casually saying she's screwing with the flow of time.

Uh, so we're not gonna give Link credit for shooting the crystal that Zelda was trapped in before being consumed by the darkness, ensuring that Zelda could escape and save the day? Kinda clutch if we're being real

Bro missed the mark on majoras mask so fucking hard. Its the same Link as OoT dude. And that theory is objectively false and has been confirmed false for years now

Never let bro cook again💀💀

Bro that twilight princess rating is WILD

I feel like we definitely missed WHY Link was even asleep for 100 years in BOTW. He was mortally wounded by fighting off wave after wave of guardians, all while fleeing with Zelda from Hyrule Castle toward Hateno (or at least the fort). Guardians. Without shield block, without ancient arrows. Just him and his mastersword. It's not even him just saving the day, his actions saved Zelda, which enabled her to seal away Ganon for those 100 years, until he was able to save everything.

Gonna be honest: this couldve been a lot better researched. Ex. Citing a debunked theory for majoras mask.

This is objectively a hideous tierlist, but thanks for the efforts.

Just stopped at the Majora’s Mask part and I just wanna point out that the theory about Link being dead in Majora’s Mask was debunked years ago. The biggest things going against it are the existence of TP Link, who is a direct successor to him. Link would’ve had to leave Termina and come back to Hyrule, become an adult and die in Hyrule. Majora’s Mask being a purgatory for Link also doesn’t make sense as the game’s intro clearly states that he was in search of an invaluable friend he parted ways with, that being Navi. The five stages of grief thing is not for Link, it’s for Navi. This is no dream world, this is no purgatory, this is a world of its own, with its own people.

The Twilight Princess disrespect is crazy

It takes a strong man to overcome a hardship, but it takes an even stronger man to accept help from loved ones. With that I want to say that TP Link should be put higher on the list.

Echos of wisdom link might not be the protagonist but he still:
1. Saved zelda after facing down something with the same power as ganon
2. Got trapped in the still world but managed to fight his way out of there while also saving some other children as implied by dialogue.
3. Contributed around 50 % to slaying null, a physical embodiment of void that had to be sealed away by the goddesses themselves because it kept annihilating life

Hes def not worthless

Link straight up kills Ganon in Zelda 1. He's dead. Not sealed. Not "defeated". Capital D Dead. Link is 10 years old.

Elite for sure

Twilight princess link is a direct descendant of the hero of time
Link in majora’s mask is 10 ie not old enough to have children so no link is not dead in majora’s mask

9:08 Yeah, and he still does a LOT as a wolf in the game! He saves Hyrule from being corrupted by the Twighlight Realm… AS A WOLF!!

I’m going to have to disagree with BotW. While it is true that the Divine Beasts did do a lot of the work in defeating calamity Ganon, and that Link did stay asleep for one-hundred years, you have to acknowledge that the Divine Beasts wouldn’t be able to help with calamity Ganon if Link didn’t free them. As for Link sleeping he was Zelda’s personal bodyguard and he actually died fighting to save her, and he didn’t go down without a hell of a fight he was facing many guardians it is a testament to his strength that he was able to do that much. Only with his death did Zelda awaken her powers, and be able to defend herself.

I feel like the section on Twilight Princess is just seriously downplaying Link's strengths. Objectively, he's one of the strongest links because of the armory of weapons he has at his disposal, and his feats in both defeating bosses and otherwise. While he needed help in some parts, yes, Ganon was also one of his strongest iterations in the game. The characters who helped him were merely there to support his own strengths(aside from Midna helping while he was a wolf, but her helping him out of prison shouldn't count). Link couldn't shoot the light arrows because Zelda was the one who had possession of them, because she was gifted them. Physically Link couldn't have shot them because they weren't his to shoot- it wasn't his own weakness that caused that, it was simply the spirits of lights' will. And he most likely could have gotten Ganon off his horse on his own it just may have taken longer.

Not only this, but a character being born with the Triforce of courage, rather than receiving it, shouldn't be a factor in how useful they are? He was born with blood from Hyrule's strongest hero in its history, and it's said literally all the time in game that he was chosen by the gods. Because someone is the chosen one doesn't mean they're useless. And there's an incredibly stark difference between having help and having support. And most of Midna's help literally comes from the fact that stuff is actually impossible for link to do, unlike the help that other Link's in the same category received. All of your points were things that were out of Link's control because it was literally impossible for him otherwise. None of the other links(so far in the video at least) have had the same variable.

NO ONE DISRESPECTS THE HERO OF WINDS LIKE THAT, everyone is a reincarnation of the original hero, THIS GUY is a normal Joe, he did ALL OF THAT only because his sister was kidnapped, THATS A GOAT RIGHT THERE

THE DISRESPECT OF TP i wonttttt allow it!

“Boar form Ganon”

It’s just Ganon
