The “not bad I guess” is hilarious

Moldy's real actual gameplay looks like a TerminalMontage animation.

Dude is aura farming in his own chat during the whole run

moldy is just out here completing speedruns like it's nothing i swear

I love that TOTK speedruns end on the hand grab. Such an absolute cinema moment.

He actually already beat his own speedrun

I CAN FINALLY EAT AFTER 2 MONTHS AS I FINALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO WATCH WHILE DOING SO 🥹🥹🥹🥹

5:09 In Twilight Princess low % the most critical glitch was found because someone practicing runs opened a chest and just left after opening it. They came back like a day later to find that Link was inside the chest. And from there the community looked into Link’s state during his “show off item” animation and found it was missing the final frame that completes the idle movement loop AND Link’s collision was off. The arguably most important glitch in 2000s Zelda speedrunning, “Back in Time” was discovered when someone playing Skyward Sword was practicing the walk the plank skeleton miniboss and rage quit the moment they voided out/lost, resetting the console which gave them movement control on the title screen. They were then able to save from the title screen and thus led to an investigation on how this might be useful. And since the community knew that the engine for Skyward Sword was the same for Windwaker and Twilight Princess, they were able to test voiding out and resetting on the other two and it worked. So yeah, people just be doing things and reporting it back to the speedrunners.
Edit: Mild error - “Back in Time” (the title screen glitch) was actually originally from a void out in Twilight Princess but the reset trick after a death that led to more memory corruption applications (since both Windwaker and Skyward Sword don’t have a great loadout on the title screen) was discovered in the pirate mini boss. This was more important for Skyward Sword than Windwaker cause you can set the flag for an end game event to true using “BIT magic” in Skyward Sword skipping a large swath of the game with title screen save file shenanigans. Thanks comments for the correction :)

moldy is way too chill about just getting a world record

The "not bad I guess" at the end means this is just an average Tuesday for moldy

0:34 no shot the game came out 3 years ago where has the time gone 😭😭

18:13 i hate how we all have to do this irl some day

i cant believe i played this game 750 hours completely vanilla lol

Do not look away! You witness a king mid-suavemente.

The landing on the deer fully killed me. I had to pause just to laugh for a few minutes this is so good

28:46 that dap up is so clean though

The fact that PointCrow never knew the Lizalfos tails are whips

@27:20 I think they put the tail on their weapon to expand it's hurt box to make it way less likely to miss a hit on the dragon

Just want to say thank you for explaining all these tricks in a way that those of us who know nothing about the game or the glitches/speedrun strats can understand and enjoy it as well! I really enjoyed it and ngl kinda has me more interested in speedrunning lmao!
