"Deciding to rubberneck a lion attack and then getting eaten by that same lion" is certainly one of the ways to go out

No one's gonna mention the chief's wife 1v1'ing a whole ass lion with a torch!? What a legend!

Watching this with my white cat. He is getting ideas I think :(

The title says Chiengi Charlie but what I immediately thought was; KIMBA HOW COULD YOU?!

3:37 The night of multiple victims may have been an episode of surpluse killing, a behavior observed in several carnivore species whereby the predator kills more prey than it needs due to behavioral and circumstantial factors of both the predator and the prey.

Zambian here. Chiengi is considered the most paranormal place in Zambia.

This was right around the same time that Jim Corbett, over in India, was ridding the world of the Champawat tiger  (436 known victims - shot by Corbett in 1907) and the Panar leopard (over 400 victims - shot by Corbett in 1910). These were the two highest scoring "human eaters" in history and they were both killed by the same young man within three years of each other.

These are my favorites of yours. The story style narratives, where you recount animal attacks. You’re a phenomenal story teller man, this video and your bear attacks video/lions of tsavo video, are my absolute favorite animal attack retellings on YouTube.
:)

It’s all good content, but just wanted to mention that! Thanks for the upload buddy!

Quickly, realizing how legendary this channel is.   Beautifully done keep up the good work.

Yes to more lion content!

Njombe lions, Panar leopard, Rogue of Mandla, and now this...

I've recognized a pattern in your channel of throwing light mostly hidden stories which can't get enough attention, and that too in a magnificent manner.

Lots of thanks to you

OMG WILD WORLD FEEDING US AGAIN LETS GOOOO

The quality of the writing, narration, and editing of the videos on this channel only seem to get better and better. Well done!

In the northeast region of brazil there a saying  "There's No Demon Or Ghost Who Can Resist A Blessed Bullet In The Head"

Thank you for covering lesser known man-eater stories. There is a lot to be learned from them.

Ive had my ass kicked by a 15 lb house cat, cant imagine tangling with a cat of lion size. You literally have no chance.

Worthy mention of ill written about but mentioned man eater lions appear in Dutch and Boer recordings especially of the extinct Cape subspecies.

Absolutely loved this story, a truly horrifying one that was almost lost to time.

Every time I see you post I get so happy. I got into this whole maneater subject because of your videos. What an interesting history it is. I appreciate you!
