Heavy Artillery is kinda an understatement, underneath a video which was also uploaded by Iron Nests official account, those 2 cannons are 80cm, same calliber as Schwerer Gustav

“Stop the freight train!”
“Ok, removing the entire railway”
(Nuclear mushroom rising far away)

You can also put the firing solution cards on the map to keep track of multiple targets.

Gosh, I love this game.

"usually you wanna use that on combustible material..."
people are combustible!

21:55 You just signed the Death Warrants of a thousand men. The Mission brief said to take out dug-in emplacements with AP BEFORE SIGNALLING THE ASSAULT. You have brought Dishonor to Castille Operator... Await for Debriefing Duties.

Woopsies! Should have read all the instructions before tooting your horn 😂 That train shot was pretty impressive though!

would be fun if they added a minigame where you clean the Iron Nest

Fun fact:

If you want the shell to reach the target faster, you can load more powder charges than necessary for higher shell velocity. The panel suggested minimum amount required, but also take longest amount of time to reach the target. If use more than minimum, it'll reach the target faster

While playing the demo version, I always expected to see shooting at moving targets.
I was surprised to see it come out right away from the first new mission.

To be honest, the top panel of the calculator only functions as a "label" since all shells share the same ballistics. I often find myself skipping it entirely when in panic mode

Ah yes the war horn signalling the machine spirit is contempt with himself

It’s awesome that the “scout plane” has the identifying features of an Autogyro.
Edit: interesting historical note, but the Spaniards used Autogyros quite a bit. The aviation museum in Madrid has quite a few on display.

11:55 Tank commander mind and knowledge in action, my guy really knows all about military weaponry mechanics... Tanks to be specific while I just enthusiastic about planes and such.

The god joke at the beginning was funny

Love how this game portrays the somewhat mundane maths and triangulations and stuff that are actually involved with the cranks and gears and turning the handles and making sure all the dials read correctly before pulling the switch that then levels half a city or ends countless lives... Hopefully the enemys' lives, but if you messed up a calculation, possibly your own mens' lives. It's somehow mundane and humdrum but also terrifying and nerve wracking with the counter battery countdown. Amazing game. 👍🏻

Remember this iron nest has 4 legs and
Twin 80cm(800mm) Guns same as Schwerer Gustav AND IT HAS AP HE HC-HE

edit1:
i was Playing iron nest and decided to fire two Nuke shells at an Single infantry and i got an achievement called “Overkill”
and is that in the game?

@ChrisBayus 1 month ago

14:25 the two targets were close enough you could have easily split the bearing and fired both barrels at the same time for a double hit

Oh boy, the boat missions... they're something alright. Good luck.

17:27 "Valle de Mula" means "Valley of (river) Mula". The origin of the valley's name is still up for debate, but in modern Spanish, the word "mula" means "mule", not "money".
