Wanda didnt start to read the darkhold to get her children back, she wanted to learm abour her and her power, but the book made her belive that her children were alive and in danger, she didnt know that she was getting corrupted

Main villian should be someone else like mephisto. Wanda initial try to help but mephisto corrupted her .

14:20 PLEASE NO. I hate the "bigger bad" resolutions. Not because it's bad per se, but because every single time they do it, they toss aside the main conflict and never really resolve it.
It's like characters end up being like "oh, now that we fought as allies, I guess our conflict wasn't that big of a deal after all... friends? 🤗", "yeah, I guess instead of my original plan to dominate the world I can settle for a quiet life as a farmer 🤠👍".

They dropped the bombshell,"Wanda is villain" with no explanation. Such a loved character deserved a smooth transition from hero to villain.

The error made with The Scarlett Witch was execution. They have the character and they have the tremendous talent and range of Elisabeth Olson. But, to have done the character justice, in my opinion, they needed to take MUCH more time with her going from hero to villain. Like an entire phase, at least. They could have, SHOULD have made her the next Thanos. She could and should be an Avengers level threat. She can rewrite reality and is one of the most powerful characters in the MCU. But, instead, they switched her from hero to villain in-between Endgame and WandaVision. And make no mistake, she is already a villain at the beginning of WandaVision. Sure, the show itself does a decent job of explaining how this came about, but it was something, again, that should have had more time and build up. And then, had they built this up and showed it over a phase, she could have been the 'big bad' of the following phase. And this would have been impactful because she would have spent more time as an Avenger; so by the time the rest of the Avengers realize what a threat she has become it might seem already too late, and this is someone out of the ranks of the Avengers and someone the other Avengers called a friend. She would be an extremely sympathetic villain, making it almost heart-wrenching for the Avengers and the audience. But, instead, they made her a villain over night in a show you had to have a subscription to D+ to have even seen and made her a one-off villain in Doctor Strange 2. A complete and utter waste of both the character and Elisabeth Olson's talent. Not many characters are as versatile as The Scarlett Witch. She can be both a savior and a destroyer. She is a character that asks the philosophical question of whether someone can have too much power, and what happens when someone with vast amounts of power goes down a dark path and how do other characters react to it? Do they feel guilty? How do they react when their friend and comrade becomes their greatest enemy? I feel like this would have made for some very compelling story telling. But, unfortunately, they squandered the character's potential. And it's doubly a shame since Elisabeth Olson has shown that she has the acting range to pull off being a troubled but ultimately heroic and tragic hero, as well as a vicious, cold-hearted and imposing threat. I may be a bit biased here as The Scarlett Witch is my favorite character from the comics, but I think it's hard to argue that both the character and Olson weren't underutilized and poorly used.

you know I have always had this idea that what would have been a great addition to her story in multiverse of madness is some context to her madness. So you know that button on the floor that activated stranges memory of christine and america's memory of her mothers, I think they should have had a scene where 838 wanda was tracking their exact movements using a spell (instead of miraculously finding them instantly) and stumbles across the memory thing where we explicitly see wanda fighting the darkholds corruption or just a little bit into what happened in those 2 years and then she snaps back into reality.

I just dislike everything they did with her character…. It felt so wasted in my opinion. I love the character and I love Elizabeth Olsen but they could have gone deeper and pulled out deeper storylines from the entirety of Wanda maximoff in the comics. They could have connected her to magneto in wandavision. There were so many “could’ve” moments that I think about in terms of her character progression. To me it felt like this character was given to shit writers who have no background knowledge of superheroes and just kinda watched infinity war/endgame and were like “okay so she’s a witch and let’s throw together these irrelevant plot points and make grief and healing a huge part of the series to cover up our lack of writing skills cause everyone loves a basket case character ” I’m just really mad because there is so much story and trauma that they could have played into. I mean they didn’t even touch on her schizophrenia, and her psychosis episodes in the comics. They made strange look like a chump when Wanda and strange are almost always allies and work together a lot of the time. In some comics strange acts as her mentor along with Agatha. Thinking about it pisses me off cause I feel like these writers just have NO RESPECT. For the characters.

You hinted at another problem by repeatedly stating only part of the title "Multiverse of Madness". My problem, is that it was Wanda's movie that Dr Strange happened to be in. Steven didn't seem to have an arc especially compared to Wanda.

Isn't the first guy shown in the BTS of DS2 the person responsible for taking a shit on Wanda's character? It's not Elizabeth's fault. It's that guy's fault.
