Mistake 1: telling them where you are moving. Mistake 2: Telling them when you are moving. Mistake 3: telling them how much you  are earning

When someone tries to send you on a guilt trip, get return trip tickets.

Really why would I pay your rent when you can move in mom

Nope. I am not paying for sister’s bills. She can live with you

Foolish to mention his new salary. They’d be after him for that money even if he moved to Antarctica.

Why would he be stupid enough to tell him how much he’s earning at his new job? That is next level stupidity.

I agree with OP she’s mommy and daddy’s responsibility. Not OPS. sister is a thief and deserves jail time. mommy should be in jail right along with sister.

Probation what a crock, they need jail time

And to think, he stopped being the family ATM when his parents (especially his mother) had the nerve to announce at dinner the brother would pay his sister’s monthly bills of $3,500..not ask, mind you, demand. And he developed the guts to say NO! Oh and thank goodness for the brother in law finally coming clean but if only he had just told the brother earlier. I guarantee you, I would’ve. It’s absolutely breathtaking how those criminals started crying about FAMILY! Ugh.

Even at 170 thousand no one could afford to dole out over 3000 a month for someone else.

The sister is 32 years old so definitely an adult.  She should have savings set aside as an emergency fund, especially if her employment tended to be sporadic.  If their parents thought she needed months of financial support, they should be supplying it, not a sibling.  The woman and their mother are crooks and thieves for taking out loans and credit cards in OP`s name.  File the crimes with the police and be prepared to go to the limit in court.  Leave the city and never look back.

She can live without you. Don't pay her bills

You are a adult your parents can't tell you what to do with your money. Why would you go to dinner with the family that have been stealing from you ? have them charged and leave them for good.

I'd simply say No  Go to hell. You are a adult act like it. And  bye bye. I would happily put them in jail for fraud and identity theft .

"Rent's $2k?" She couldn't find anywhere more affordable? NEVER tell  your family what you make, when/where you are moving.  "family helps family" often means "family helps themselves to what you have/own/earn."

"I arrive $6" ok. i do get that money is time too but not that literally!🤣

What do you want from us? .....Distance!

I would definitely fry all of them. I would never look back.

And you waited 3 years to tell me

I know this is fiction but it opens past memories. Family will betray you in a heart beat and make it seem like your fault.
