Calfire employee here. A huge thankyou for ALL emergency dispatchers. You all have saved many, many lives, including the lives of a lot of fire and law enforcement personnel . Much respect to you for doing a very difficult job with little to no recognition for your efforts.
WHAT A FANTASTIC STORY….. I was BLOWN AWAY not only by the narration, but the actual story plot. By the end I was crying my eyes out. These hidden people (Dispatchers) have saved unimaginable amounts of people, without the recognition they deserve. Thank to these people around the world for you brave, kind service ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of the best stories I’ve heard on here yet! It’s also sad to note that for many 911 operators across the country, that IS what they make a year! Thank you
It's so touching to hear this story. People don't often understand what happens when a death of a spouse or a divorce happens. The guardian parent is left with either few choices of how they're going to finish raising a child or children. When those kids are older and realize what that parent did, it's enlightening.
Best story on YouTube. God Bless all the emergency dispatchers, the first responders, the ambulance drivers, the EMTs and Paramedics. The Doctors and Nurses and all hospital workers.
I took the training for dispatch. I only lasted six months. Not even successfully through the six month probation period. It was the toughest thing I have ever done. I was already over 50 when I did it so it wasn't like I was young. There were several calls similar to this story in the six months I did it.
I started to hear stories to improve my English. But this one is just the best I've heard. My mum had serious issues when I was young (since 12 yo), so I always appreciate all the dedication and effort of these dispatchers, nurses, ER doctors, police, firemen, and all staff that make our lives more secure. The truth of loyalty to life being underpaid, the raw feeling of need when you are amidst fire/health issues, having to take care of lives, inumerous of them, while keeping your cool... The shame of some kids that don't understand the reality of life until they have to face it heads on... Thanks, guys. We appreciate it.
I was so emotional listening to this young girl’s second post after spending the night with her Mom at work. We take the people who do the most essential jobs for granted until we directly need them. Thank you ALL essential service providers.
