WE WILL NEVER SEE A CLOSER LIKE MARIANO RIVERA! HE IS THE GOAT!

Mariano!  I loved watching this guy play.  The Executioner.

Nobody can argue greatest closer ever!  Nobody come close.  If my life was on the line for 1 inning I am picking this guy over anyone ever!

Right now I'm reading a book by Mariano Rivera.

I was broken after the 2001 loss.

This feels real, when sports had real morale and grit. Nothing was scripted just reality at its finest

The Best I've ever Seen! When he came to the mound you can head to your car!

When mo walked to the mound it was almost a 95% chance it was GAME OVER. Very rarely did he blow a save, he did a couple times throughout his career but it was definitely rare. It was truly a privilege and an honor to have him as our legendary closer for so many years. Yankees were fortunate.

Met him at the Yankee Steakhouse at the stadium years back. Humble GOAT

Mariano was the greatest reliever, anyone else would be a distant second.

The year Mo was the setup man for Wetteland was an epic year. Basically, if the Yanks had the lead entering the 7th inning it was over. I think Mo and John only blew one save that year with a lead in the 7th. Truly epic.

THE GOAT, ENTER  SANDMAN

With what has happened to the Yankee bullpen everyone now has to appreciate just how good he was!!! Thanks for the memories, integrity and professionalism, Mariano. Really enjoyed reading your book.

Greatest ever.   Unquestioned.  But I do recall the early days when the fans booed him....I don't 'boo' but I was there.

Idk if stats can have heart but he is the sandman for a reason.

We need a movie about Mo: The Closer

Trevor Hoffman getting 50 less saves with an NL bottom feeder like the Padres is still unbelievably impressive.

Man I miss this guy playing. How spoiled we were.

Truly a privilege to have lived during his playing time. 9-1 postseason, 42 saves, 0.70 era.
Thank you Mo!

He was one of a kind the sand man what other baseball player had such a name like that no one !!
