Right now, as you play through Fallout 4, characters you talk to every single day are lying to your face. They look human, they appear to bleed like a human, and they might not even know the truth about themselves—but buried deep inside their body is a synth component filled with the Institute’s lines of code. n this video, we’re going to investigate 12 different characters who are secretly synths in Fallout 4. These NPCs blend into society - posing as real humans amongst their neighbors. In some cases, they work on behalf of the Institute. But in other cases, their true identity remains unknown even to them - as they try to evade capture from their mad scientist overlords.

Wouldn't a better method be only replaced ghouls? That way, you achieve two goals.Simultaneously. you wipe out the ghoul population and fill the commonwealth with synths and no one more question them, because ghouls are also immortal.
Otherwise, we're left with the currept vanilla situation, which is a fashion nightmare ik the making (See Chef's Hat and Fashionable Glasses combo)
The actual danger is the institute creating more that they explicitly control. Destroying the institute destroys the issue, and the released and reprogrammed synths can just go live whatever life a human would.
