Made in Ukraine🟨, together with Yevhen Synelnykov, we show how textile waste is processed into nonwoven materials in Ukraine: from clothing sorting and mechanical "fibering" to carding, furnaces and finished products - insulation (Hollowsoft, Termoloft), geotextiles, acoustic panels and even fire-resistant materials (Embertex). We explain the difference between linear and circular economies, why elastane is a problem, and how Ukrainian production processes up to 3,500 tons of textiles per year. @yevgensynelnykovv
